I personally like Greed better, mostly because he changes for the good in both the original and brotherhood.....well in my opinion he does.

In a Chinese fan-made visual novel called Bluebird's Illusion one of the endings is where Ed is turned into a homunculus called Pride. If you want to know more you can look it up. There's some script translations somewhere but the game itself hasn't fully been translated into English yet, so you can't really play it unless you can read Chinese.
