Er, no. Olivier is in the manga and Brotherhood, and she kicks a**. She's Major Armstrong's older and cooler (and prettier) sister. Who uses no alchemy and yet manages to beat him up, badly. You should totally see Brotherhood; I liked it a lot better than the 2003 anime.

ive never read the manga and ive never watched brotherhood....

It's so much better than the 2003 anime, in my humble opinion. I prefer anime adaptations to stick close to the manga, and the 2003 anime... didn't. I especially disliked the ending.

So, I'd recommend it, if for no other reason than Olivier's awesomeness.
