So my gf is a bigger nerd than I am and introduced me to anime starting with this show, she knows how into anything science I am. I just finished the first season and it was amazing. I just wanted to post about it.

Whose your favorite character and why?

Alfonse easily is my favorite. He's not arrogant like Edward, but more compassionate. Sometimes it can affect his thinking too much, but for me he is easier to relate to and I like that. Not like Kratos in God of War, I can't stand him as a person.

I can spend an entire day talking about this anime, and only cover a fraction of the amazingness of this anime. I love Brotherhood more so than the other as it follows the Manga more, I watched FMA first and it was great up until it was reaching the end. That sort of ruined it for me... Movie made up for it but only very slightly, there just seemed to be too much lacking in that one. But anyway, Fullmetal Alchemist is amazing, and differs so much from other animes I've seen <33
I can safely say it's still my favorite all time anime series.
