Love superheroes?
Love fantasy?
Love science fiction?
Love other planets?
Love rescuers?

I'm working on a book series. Things about the MC.

-Is 18 and in 12th grade
-Is in colorguard
-Does target-shooting with her dad
-Has the power of light (cliche, but it's my fav power)
-Wears retainers, but takes them out before having to save the day
-Is nearsighted, so wears glasses, but wears them when she drives (her friend always tells her she should always wear her glasses anyway)
-Doesn't care for jewelery
-Wants to be a professional paramedic

Best things about her:
-She is not clumsy
-She does not become popular for no reason like Bella Swan, and she's not even popular to begin with
-She usually gets popular by embarrassing herself (the bad kind of popular)
-She can't fly for s**t
-She can't teleport either
