Brotherhood follows the storyline of the manga, and, in my family's opinion, is the better anime overall. It has a more happy ending too! :3 I think you'll like it.

I don't greatly care for it but it's not bad, the animations of it bother me and the voice of Al as well.

i hope you like sweets because they sugar coat the show to an extreme
personally i like the original FMA better because it was deeper and more realistic since life isn't always rainbows and sunshine
