Well, that's what I mean. Envy can keep his "normal" form and still change his gender. People usually refer to Envy as a male, but still.

Envy can be whatever he/she wants to be, with anyone. Despite the so-called "true appearance" in the 2003 anime, I understand that Envy supposedly wasn't sure him or her-self.

I think thats why Everyone always says 'He' or 'Him'.

In the 2003 anime, Envy was a boy. But in Brotherhood, Envy is genderless.

I would just go with Envy being a boy and call it good. I get that he technically isn't human and is a shape shifter, but overall I count him as male.
