As someone who is in the medical field and have worked with acupuncturists, I cannot stress how effective and great acupuncture is.

Well from all the patients that I've worked with alongside the acupuncturist, that is the main concern. People are often afraid of the needles and sometimes associate them to the shot / hypodermic needles. But they're nothing alike.

The modern acupuncture needles are so small that you can't even feel anything.

I remember helping out an eight year old by telling him to close his eyes while the doctor placed the needles. He didn't feel any of them. And there were 16 needles in his head / neck area.

I've gotten at least a hundred or so acupuncture treatments in my lifetime and it's nothing at all. (most of my treatments were on my head and even my face for my sinuses)

You can do w/e you want while the needles are in and there's no sensation unless you're super tense and mess with it.


I hope it works out for you nuki. There's so many benefits / reasons to get the treatment.
