I must confess, I had not heard of the Trans-hawk, but I suppose con artists are everywhere and as much as alot of trans people would not like to admit it, they are a vulnerable part of the community and at risk from the serious crimes that you mentioned.

AWESOME! AWESOME THREAD! So glad you made this. There's another thread like this in ED, but because it's in ED, the rules are more strict.

Name: Dan is my chosen name, it's not legal yet, though. I don't even want to think about my legal name (too late, already did :/).
Age: 19
Transgender: Yes, FtM.
Reason for being here: I'm starving to be around other people who are living the same experience. In my real life, I am isolated from transsexuals (or rather, don't know where they're all hanging out). The internet is currently the only space where I can share my issues and feel heard and respected.
Anything else: I've been on testosterone for six months. How I got here is a LOOONG story. I tried to type it out to post here but it was way too long... I think I'll share it another time.
