You know, you are way way way too sweet. 3nodding I'm not used to people as nice as you are. razz You spoil me!

One day, I vow to surprise you with something for once.

Meh, it only takes a small effort to be nice and I like making people happy ^____^

Besides, I don't mind spoiling you, which it isn't really razz

Ooh, I like suprises...

It is spoiling me! You and Foxie have both done it!

It's going to be when you least expect it!
Hrmm, methinks I need to make myself a new layout for my profile, but I don't know what to do it of.

My current one is Auron, but my avie doesn't look like a wee femme Auron anymore.

Auron? Hmm....rings a slight bell....

I never much experimented with CSS coding, just getting a theme off Tektek until the new profile system came out.

He's a character from Final Fantasy X. Not my favourite FF, but I adore him.

I have a love/hate relationship with any type of coding, it drives me absolutely nutters, but I suppose it has to be done if I want my own custom stuff. 3nodding

I played Final Fantasy X when it first came out but have never finished it.

VI, VII and IX have been my favourites, VI in particular because it's steam-punky and IX because it's so reminiscent of the old final fantasy games.

VII will always have a place in my heart though, I was completely blown away by it when I bought it in '97.

IV will always be my absolute favourite, I think. Not only was it my first FF, but also the very first video game that was my own (and not my older brother's). I still haven't been able to get my hands on VII.

<thinks back> I've got Final Fantasy 4, is that the one that starts on a flying ship? The first game I bought myself was Pitfall II after I got an Atari 2600 for xmas with Breakout and Combat (I was sooo impressed)

After that it was home computers for me, C64, Amiga and I never got a another console until I bought a SNES and a Genesis (Megadrive to us) in 95, just when they were dying out. Then a PSX, N64, Saturn and briefly a PS2 and GBA. I've sold or got rid of most now and mainly stick to the PC now and play old games in <cough> other ways.

FF VII is getting rare now, but it's one of the best. Quite poorly translated and scripted at times, feels very clunky and the story is confusing unless you really keep with it, but it's just got an atmosphere and epic feel to it.

I was so sheltered from all things electronic when I was younger! gonk Well, not so much sheltered as deprived. We had Nintendo, but my Mother and brother hogged that to play Zelda. And I didn't get SNES until my brother finally got tired of his and I got the hand-me-down, which I still have and play! ^_^ Other than that, the only system I have is PS2, though I admit that's probably only because I'm too broke to afford anything else.

<grins> It's nice to have parents that play games, you don't have to convince them that games aren't bad and a waste of time.

Even now, my dad is really into FPS's and strategy games, whilst mom loves RPG's particuarly, 'Final Fantasy' type ones.

I still play a lot of retro games of all systems, particuarly on the SNES and Genesis. Chronotrigger, FF6, Secret of Mana, Zelda, Super Metroid, Castlevania to name but a few.

Castlevania!! heart heart God, I would kill to get my hands on that again. Have they re-released the original on any newer consoles, do you know?

<nods> The original NES one? It came out as part of a Castlevania Chronicles for the PSX, which I owned at one time. PSX Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is still the best ever though, awesome music and gameplay.
Man, I need a new job, so I can spend all of my money on games.

<grins> I only ocassionally buy games now and usually months after they come out, I'm still trying to get around to buying the Sims 2 expansion packs.

I'm also debating whether to buy World of Warcraft, but i'm not fond of subscription online games...I may be a little cheap in that regard. sweatdrop

Haha, man, I'm still playing the Sims 1 with no expansion packs! That's how far behind I am in the Sims world.

I used to play Star Wars Galaxies which was pretty entertaining, and worth the subscription because I worked with a bunch of people who also played. But that's another thing that the aformentioned ex ruined for me, the b*****d. razz

>.<;; That's one of the games I planned to play when I finally got a home connection last year, but I've heard and read from a lot of the fans that since they brought out a new expansion pack, it had become totally ruined and a lot of the old fans had deserted.

I'm still tempted though, because hey, it's Star Wars. razz

The online games I do play are Neverwinter Nights, a D&D one that I enjoy the most because people actually ROLEPLAY their characters and i'm a D&D'er nyway and Guild Wars, which is decent enough, too much hack and slash and not enough roleplaying for me but is free to play each month and fun.

I did try Runescape once for about an hour <shudders>
