Well, I don't think its really wrong to accept an emergency commission, like if someone needs it by a certain day and is willing to pay extra

The problem is that I don't think they need it right away, just want it...and I don't really operate on the whole "will do this drawing by this day" idea. I've had people waiting for months for me to draw for them and it's just because I don't want to force myself to do a drawing and, for quite some time now, I haven't been in a great state to do any drawings.

I wouldn't compromise what you're used to doing just because somebody doesn't have the patience to wait for you to do it in your own time. Especially if they just want it and don't really need it.

If you don't want to do it, I'd just tell them no. There are plenty of other artists on this site that do things immediately. 3nodding
