I think it would be cool to make it an RP style thread, but one that's more "chat" like. A sort of tavern where all of the pirates hang out. So there won't be actual adventuring, persay, though you could talk about previous adventures, or upcoming adventures, with fellow pirates.

See, some of us ( I ) are not terribly good at role playing. So instead we're going with the concept Dark stated.

I hung around the Masquerade a bit, and I placed in the short story comp.

Hmm, that sounds intersting. I might like to be a sky pirate.

I can't think of an item that would make my avvie look pirate-ish. But I'll try to come up with some sort o' character.

Well, I guess when we travel in places with sand we can use that. I was mostly trying to fashion the us to be like 'wild west' outlaws and such. But I guess a little technology never hurts.
