And probably yes, most people after all know English, some older people don't, but most do.^^ You can at least get along here just fine with English, if you stick to the bit bigger cities.

The complicated grammar things I remember are: for one, you have really long words. D: and two, I noticed you change nouns a lot. Like I think it was, if you're in say, England, you add letters at the end of it to say that you're -in there- rather than just adding a particle. Although, I could be thinking of a different language xP

The words aren't that long. surprised And yes, we do that. I guess that can be hard for foreigners, but I think Japan does the same things, adding to the word rather than adding an particle. But don't worry about getting them correct, you'll learn it and if not perfectly, at least so much that we can understand you.^^
