We can't tell you that life will be smooth sailing if you come out. Because there will always be bad experiences to accompany. Like Em and I with our moms. Our moms are still a little in denial over it. They want to pretend like we never told them.

Some people are downright nasty to you when they find out. Some people are just narrow-minded and inconsiderate. There will always be people that don't agree with the lifestyle you end up leading. But you have to be strong enough to stand up for what you believe in.
