I'm an RPG guy. Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, Skyrim, Valkyria Chronicles. Those are just some of my favorites. Alan Wake is a great action game. I recommend it if you haven't played it before. It's not as scary as Silent Hill, but it's wonderful. : D

This guy, Alan, who is a writer, takes a vacation in a quiet little town. Suddenly, weird s**t starts happening, and he's finding pages of a book written by him, but he doesn't remember writing them. His wife has vanished, so he's looking for her, but the place is being consumed by darkness. I fail at explaining things, but like... it's just wonderful. It's a psychological thriller. Really good game play, an awesome soundtrack, and a very brilliant story. It's one of my favorite games of all time, for sure.
