I don't drink often, and that's what made me so sick. Smoking, thats a daily thing, and it actually helps me a lot. No more anxiety, a lot less stress, and I am able be a lot happier in general. I see it as a medication, not a drug.

A few of my friends say the same thing about smoking.

I leave weed consumption up to the individual. If you're a useless stoner you'll reap what you've sown, but if you medicate yourself reasonably or use it as a source of fun from time to time you'll just keep on living and doing your thing like anyone else is entitled to.

It's not as bad as you may think. If you are really curious, I would research the facts rather than listening to rumors. Everyone will have their own opinion on it though. It's not better than cigarettes in my opinion, but not any worse either.
