Hey! I'm still here, I was just writing a story in my journal, but it logged me off.

Umm... never seen that movie and I don't think I want to. Though I saw Sin City (without my parents permission, of course) and it was cool. Elijah's (the dude who eats people) glasses were cool. That was an awesome movie, except it's really bad on the eyes, all the gray. But I don't like comic related stuff all that much, so now I know not to watch 300.

Oh and I just thought of another song, though I'm not sure how relevant it is, but it's "Borken" by Seether and Amy Lee. Love that song, which is why I'm listening to it right now.

I was hoping that the part where Bobba Fett dies would be a lot more epic than it was ;-;
Which brings me back to hoping that Steph gets better at fight scenes/torture scenes etc.
I still wish that the torture scene with James and Bella was longer >:0

Oooooooohhhhhh riiiiiiiiight. I forgot that part cuz I only read New Moon once. And I completely ignored any part where Edward wasn't in it. Except I was required to get angry at Jacob whenever he was too friendly with Bella. That I yelled at.

Oh and I always think of songs for books. Especially this one if I'm thinking of a movie. I love background music, it sets the mood better. And I hated "The Birds". It had no sound except for that, so it really made me angry. I can't have a movie where there aren't any other sounds. It irks me. Too much silence. I even have to have bg music right now cuz silence is annoying.... Done complaining!

Oh another song: "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars. Don't know why, but I like that song and sometimes it fits, I think in some dramatic scenes of the book.

Oh and for the song thing that people were talking about, I would say "Twilight" by Vanessa Carlton (need explaining?) and "Forever" by Papa Roach (it just sounds cool). And for New Moon soundtrack, I would say "Good Enough" by Evanescence, just because it has a cool piano intro and it reminds me of Bella's lullaby, and also cuz the lyrics seem to fit.

Me hates Aloe Vera. It's a sticky green mess that smells weird and stings. But it's my only salvation when I get badly burned.

On the soundtrack to Twilight/New Moon...

I've never really imagined a soundtrack to the books

When I make movies, I don't plan on having soundtracks

I wanna be like Hitchcock when he made "The Birds" where the only music you heard was when the birds were attacking and only then you were able to hear people screaming in a sort of melody and the birds whistling

Like when Bella and Edward were in the meadow, the only sounds you would hear would be Bella and Edward's breathing, maybe Bella's faint heartbeat, and the sounds of the forest

Totally agree with you. Stephenie needs to get more in depth with the gore scenes, even though she may not like it. =/

@Everyone: Yes. Victoria's death needs to be epic, though I would be more epic towards the death of someone else... say... Jacob? I don't think he's going to be alive throughout the whole series, he seems like the kind of guy you kill off to get rid of the love triangle. Especially in a book where anyone could die. So it must happen!

Yay! We're getting a lot of new people today! That's awesome! Hopefully they stick around until at least Eclipse's release... that would be so cool!

Which is why I don't want music in this kind of movie

Besides the sounds the characters make (and maybe the forest) I want nothing making sounds because silence is unsettling for many people, but breathing slowly and carefully as if someone is breathing by your ear, is a very seductive noise, so by only making natural noises and not allowing any other music into the movie, you create the unsettling, yet seductive feeling that the books made

I usually relate music to everything.
Twilight/New Moon is pretty easy to put music to anyway.

I LOVELOVELOVE The Birds. I love Hitchcock period.
How can you hate it? The use of no music besides birds and other natural sounds was amazing. It made it creepy. Especially the end.

But I adore some soundtracks for movies. The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou would have been utterly different without it's soundtrack.

No music for the meadow scene, I agree. Just...forest sounds.
Or maybe nothing other than Bella and Edward. That would be very cool, very surreal.
