They shouldn't, and it's one thing that bothers me a lot. A lot. People need to stop changing the meaning of things to suit their own needs. It's hard enough to communicate with people.

And that's why I said "manga-style comic artist". It holds the same connotation without having to actually change things.[/rant]

*surprise attack on Worm*
*gives him gummy bears*

*rolls off*

Yes, but it's the nature of language to change and readjust to people's needs.
Because really, saying a Manga artist, is a lot more productive than saying a manga style comic artist. We give words new meanings to avoid phrases.

Also, I will note a difference between traditional manga, which are graphic novels, and american comics, which are graphic magazines. The words may not denotatively be all that different, but we all know what's going on, and it's an understanding in the connotation.

Unless I mixed up denotation and connotation. That happens.

Oh yeah, I don't feel like debating today 8D

Sin: *Wonders what kind of attack it was, nibbles on gummies*

I'm getting sick of people randomly acting violent at me.

I could go for some bacon for reals. Maybe in a sandwich with other things.

          ...language should never evolve?
C'mon Dark, don't be a purist. Japan also - and pretty much every country - uses words from
other languages sometimes when there's no word in their own language that appropriately
          describes a thing. It's not a US-only trait.

          ...

I should make cookies and cocoa. =3 (notreallyIRL)

Worth enjoying a brush with his blue toothbrush
I'm actually tempted to buy lots of watermeats with my free cash. Well, not lots at a time, but over time.

I'd make gold that way, in theory.

...and so would you guys, technically.

Thanks Frogger and Sin, for the wonderful art!
