we're biased for our own, after all. ^^;
But yeah, it is true that women have pretty much been pushed down throughout history...
and a lot of it as a reaction - women gain power, men feel threatened, things tighten up for
women, repeat repeat repeat. I feel like that's happening even now... .__.;
When people (yeah, I've seen this from women) talk about how "feminism killed chivalry"

Chivalry died for many reasons. A lot of girls just...don't like it anymore. I don't know why, but as the numbers grew, men were less inclined to be chivalrous. It's not really dead, but it's definitely an endangered species!

Chivalry is stupid. Basic politeness should be afforded to anyone regardless of gender. I hold doors for whomever is behind me and I would like them to do the same for me.
when I was younger, I used to enjoy just standing at the door somewhere while I was waiting for my parents, and just open it for everyone that came up heh. I was a weird kid.
