hugs Those good wishes mean the world to Finn emotion_bigheart They're totally useful.

So Finn gets to try and find housing he doesn't have to pay for within the next couple months. Unless he can figure out how to scare up some shifts from work, or find a job that isn't dependent on the season. (As in, The Season.) If that's the case, then he still has to find a new place to live, it's just going to open up his options a little.

So he's ridiculously stressed out.
He kind of wants more sex.

Since he doesn't get more sex, he's venting. Gotta have some kind of release.

Sex is, quite possibly, the best stress relief ever. emotion_drool

Because my mattress is made of air chambers, and my door is loose in it's frame, it [the door] rattles rather rhythmically when there's sexing. I can't decide if it's annoying or funny.

That it is.
As for squeaking - funny, when no one else is there. Embarrassing as all ******** when your brother leaves a note on your door to move your bed away from the wall or have sex on the floor.

I can see how that would be awkward sweatdrop
That stuff with your dad sounds shiiittyyyyyyy, I hope everything works out okay.

Bro, I think at this point your circumstances are well beyond the realm of shitty for my dad. I really do hope you can find a good, stable place to kick your feet up and not have to worry about moving again any time in the near future. Or far future, because moving sucks a**.

No comment TT. I have no real solid experiance to use.

Twilight, may I ask your opinion on unions?

sure. ^_^

personally, I'm in favour of Unions. that's one of the things that I disagree with mosto f the time on political forums, because I do support the Libertarian Party..... but I will submit that I don't entirely like the current model of Unions. I'm more in favour of the IWW, and very much opposed to the Labour Party.

the way I see it, I would rather see big money kept out of election campaigns altogether. if PACs, SuperPACs, and corporations can no longer spend countless amounts of money in campaign donations, I'd be alright with Unions being unable to spend their money on campaign donations either.

but that said, I hate the crack-down against Unions. collective bargaining should be protected! Unions should continue to organize, and make their demands. I'm all in favour of it.

I'm an Anarcho-Syndicalist. I believe that all Industry should be run by the workers. purely socialized, but non-centralized, industry!
Ok. I was curious because my dad is part of a union. It is not the best nationally but the local is good.

yeah, it seems that tends to be how most go.... the more centralized any organization, the more corrupt it inevitably becomes.
I know nationally it is mobbed up.

real shame, too. if it weren't for the hassle, I would suggest he try to make a switch over to the IWW, but it might be more of a headache than it's worthe.

No switching. Can't be done with his kind of work. It would not be so bad if it wasn't for the healthcare. Why they pay in they could get the best from a national company but because it mobbed up we get screwed.

isn't that always how it is? that's the problem with most Unions today. they are no better than corporations. they use their members for politics. spend the membership fees to support democrat candidates for public office, and demand the members vote democrat.

if voting Republican gets your workers more work, shouldn't you, as a Union Boss, vote Republican then? just seems like it's more political theatre and less about actually organizing for worker benefits.

but of course, the republicans and the democrats both are generally pretty awful about worker rights. and they both continue to feed the monster that is unlimited campaign donations by private entities, which inherently favours the rich. and when that is coupled by Citizen's United and the Corporate Personhood, it creates this ******** up system where organizations are counted as people and can donate unbelievable amounts of money.

thus, republicans have the corporations on their side, and democrats have the unions. it's no different.

They do not demand you to vote for one party. They merely mention in their newsletter that they are looking to support this person or that person. It is not the union presidential election. Where if you show signs of voting someone else in a couple of guys will "persuade" you not to. Besides, you need unions for what my dad does.

I have expressed my support for Unions already. I just don't like how most of them operate nowadays. I'm an Anarcho-Syndicalist; Unions are something I think this country needs plenty more of.

eesh... the healthcare issue is a gordian knot. it requires the entire system to be abandoned and started over from scratch. this is why capitalism sucks.
