@ Kumiko: A green man? OwO That sounds like a fun festival!

Yup. She doesn't thank me when I do chores. It's either "Oh. Okay" or "Did you do this? No? Then you're not done. Get to it". It pisses me off. I'm trying really hard and it's not even appreciated. I mean, this morning I made breakfast (three freakin' types of pancakes and a plate of biscuits at 9 in the morning after going to bed at 4) and guess what? She left the mess behind for ME to clean up. I don't mind cleaning it since I'm a neat chef and I usually clean up after myself, but I was exhausted after I finished cooking. Isn't it the polite thing to do when someone cooks for you? To wash the dishes? Nobody wanted to even go near them! Everybody enjoyed them, so why not help out? I had to cook and clean and still everyone's mad at me! What is their deal?!

O.O Hm? Why?

@Pink: I don't know much more than that except for the May Day festival, which I had to study for archaeology last year. That one is very expressly a fertility holiday.

Ugh. Even my mom is nicer about that. She'll tell my dad when he comes home that it was me who did X, Y and Z that day.

In my thread.

Found another site that has 2 in-stock. Only thing is that it doesn't state if it ships overseas or not. gonk

EDIT: Malaysia only.
Found a second-hand one on a different site, but apparently it's on backorder. How the hell does that work out? O_o
If there's one in-stock, and it's second hand? Strange...
EDITEDIT: Ah, I see. Not at the main warehouse, but at a secondary warehouse that can be backordered to the main warehouse for dispatch...

I've always wondered about May Day :3 What's it about?

I mean, she will mention to my father that I did certain chores sometimes, but still...Why overlook all of the good I try to do just because I didn't do something that wasn't really necessary because I didn't want to get sick? I'm sorry for ranting and complaining, but it's just so unfair...

Oh! OwO *rushes over*

Hey! Hey! It's food time! Dun forget to eat! :3

@Pink: It's a summer festival. People used to get married around that time.

I agree.

That's an odd reminder. I usually go to dinner around 7, though.

Aw, that's so cute! -^.^- heart

Ah. Make sure to eat at least a little bit :3 You need your strength to get better!

It was also a festival of, dare I say this, virility.

I'm aware. I did have food at lunch, though not nearly as much as yesterday.

The website I just mentioned, I thought the price was £11. It's actually £75! gonk (About $100-something)

That's a last resort... a lot of money for something that's second-hand.

Come to the dark side... we have Osakas!
Highly-annoying Azumanga Daioh, Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga and McFly fangirl.

@ Kumiko: o.o I...I see...

Good >w< As long as you ate something, that's fine.

And because my mom is STILL complaining about chores not being done (though I worked all flippin' day), I'm gonna BRB.

@Pink: A lot of stuff happened around that time.

It was difficult today, but I think it had to do with how late I woke up.

Ugh. Sorry about that.

*curls up under a blankie with a plushie* I am NEVER doing chores again.

You got yelled at?!

Yes, but for something else. I just left to do the dinner dishes. The other day, my sister dropped the hair straightener and broke it (she breaks EVERYTHING), so my mom kept it around for some reason or another. When I went to tell her that the dishes were clean, she responded by telling me to go throw the broken straightener out and I just told her that I'll throw it out when we get a new one so we'll know which one to get. And that's when she snapped and just yelled at me! Maybe if I pull what my sister does, I'll be appreciated. I'll just stop doing chores completely and maybe when I pick up something off the floor once in a while, I'll get a parade.

Good grief. She sounds like she's under a lot of stress.
