@Pink: I went to the cafeteria for lunch at a pretty dead time, so the woman who cleans the tables was coming through. I've known her since I was a freshman, so I wasn't surprised when she started talking to me. However, the conversation starter did surprise me:
Her: "I hear you got into that Twilight series." Me: "What?! Oh, heck no. I make fun of it." She then proceeded to launch into a discussion of vampires and how her favorite vampire of all time has to be Bella Lugosi's Dracula. By then I was already trying not to laugh, but then she segued into Stephen King novels and how he said he's "talked to demons" to get his ideas. This started a rant about how demons are dangerous and not to be associated with. I said nothing to prompt her, so what were the odds of that? lol |
