its a ridiculously craptastic style of writing that pulls you in and leaves no room for a way out. The first time you read it you are all >swoon swoon< and then as you wait for the next ones to come out you start to realize the stupidity of the books.
That and the 4th book destroyed her characters. I know they are hers but she destroyed everything some of the characters stood for and just left the others so you don't know what the hell happened to them. |

The Best User Ever The Best User Ever So, all three hardcover copies of Twilight are out of my school library, yet all the Redwall novels are collecting dust. At least Redwall can be considered a Saga! Quoting for epic win. Redwall is an example where tons of description isn't so bad if it's got sword fighting, quests, revenge and elaborate food. (Although it must be said that I am far more excited about Mothstorm than Doomwhyte, because Redwall is seriously lacking in the space pirate department)[/offtopic] @screams of lust: They all had good potential. Edward would have made a great villain, and with some character development Bella could have been a tolerable heroine. They just were all stuck into a totally boring plot by an author whose idea of character development is to make her "heroine" spend the climax swooning and showing absolutely no backbone or brain cells whatsoever, doing exactly the same things as she's been doing the whole novel. |

I just hate the fangirls that never shut up! (And since most of them didn't start reading the books until the 3rd and 4th ones came out, I don't think they deserve to be called diehard fans, other than because of the way they NEVER SHUT UP and would attack you if you so much as suggested that they're not that great of books!)

If the reasons aren't because Twilight has sexy characters, then they're completely false. Twilight does NOT have strong characters and this has been proven many times. Also, I find it hilarious how they talk about Harry's "emo fest" in the fifth book after Sirius DIED, but yet Bella moping around for months and months after Edward left her is okay. Okay, I lied. I watched more. "She isn't killing everyone off." Ugh. I never thought I'd actually defend JK Rowling this much. But come on, they were in a full fledged war in the last book. Of course people died. It's life. Meyer on the other hand wiggles her way out of any situation that could possibly end in character death. |

They said Meyer's story got snatched up and Rowling had to go through ten publishers. While the part of Rowling is true, Meyer didn't get "snatched up". Aaaannnd... I had to stop. I got bored of hearing them go off topic and blab about nothingness. |
