Apparently I failed at witty reference to old game. I did some looking and apparently the Grues in Zork have an E at the end. It's been a lot of years since I played Zork. I believe I was first eaten by a grue in the early 80's.

Probably Grunny just came from "green bunny". But I like my version better. smile
I have no idea where this came from (I got it from Wikipedia - Zork folk lore - but)
