"There's definitely something different about it, but I'm not sure it's Holy that I taste. Regardless, it's some good stuff."

Alexander looked out at his foundation and then walked further into his van. When he came back out he held in his hands a box of donuts, a pack of beef jerkey, and two bottles of water.

"To the new building," he said and offered some water to the man. This was a special occasion for Alexander. Things were starting to look up for him. Tomorrow he'd have to get some supplies for fortifying the foundation, but for now he just wished to celebrate.

.....A casual predator was making his way along the landscape of Gaia south of Barton Town. This fair-skinned man of a hue akin to coffee that has been well-creamed was dressed particularly exotic today; he wore not much more than a bear-skin hide to cover his loins, a pair of very worn moccasins, and various accessories, such as the intricately-woven assortment of feathers which decorated his dreaded hair and the hemp necklace that was ringed with the teeth of several carnivorous animals.
.....As he walked, he made sure to keep close to whatever protective shelter there may be. Out of habit, he was a predator, and predators were skilled stalkers; they were always aware of their surroundings, and used such to their most extensive advantages.
.....With padded steps, the predator's dark green eyes caught sight of two creatures in the distance who seemed to be conversing outside of some large black box-of-an-object - Arai slowly dug from the depths of his ancient mind the word "car". The predator stopped and stooped even lower into the cover of whatever foliage may be about; these creatures seemed to interest the bestial man.

Jacob accepted the water with a nod and took a swig, "Indeed. Now if you'll excuse me..." With that he left.

((Sorry, I'm stuck between sick and busy, so I'll come back some other time.))

RIP, Randomman

Alexander nodded and waved goodbye to the man as the stranger left. It was good to know there were still some honest souls out there. Now, supposedly, alone, Alexander retreated closer inside of his van and removed a sleeping bag, letting it unfurl onto the floor of the vehicle. A cheap pillow was set at the head of the resting place, a Glock 18C placed underneath it. The gun didn't provide the man much comfort. Most hostiles in this area were powerful enough to stop a bullet with thought alone.

.....Calmly, Azai watched from his post in the brush as one man entered the modern-day transportation device, then returned with a contraption which appeared to hold water; again, Azai's ancient mind teemed and tossed about its contents. From the depths, another word was grasped: bottle. Azai followed the bottle as it was passed much like an allegiance offering from man to man.
.....Then, swiftly as Azai had taken occupation as viewer, so too did the receiver of the bottle leave the scene; Azai watched the man leave, though he made sure to keep the giver of the token in his peripherals.
.....Once assured that there was only one man left, Azai turned his attention back to the automobile; it seemed the only other individual had gone into the guts of the black beast and was now hidden from the calm predator's sight. Like a ninja spider monkey, the tribalistic individual crept across the ground on all fours, keeping low in the foliage; his movements were slow and concentrated, calculative.
.....The confrontation would come in due time...

.....Now nearing the black beast, Azai was wary as ever he had been before. These few steps could easily mean the difference between life and death; people across Gaia, Azai had noticed, weren't the most easily trusting. Unfortunately for the hunter, Azai had never considered that the way in which he approached people may have something to do with their attitudes toward him.
.....Now at the wheel of the beast - "What odd legs these 'cars' have," thought the crouched predator as he peered at them in passing - the tribalistic man bent his head under the open rear end of the car and into the interior; what he saw was a foolish man wrapped in a blanket who appeared to be asleep. Whether asleep or no, he was unaware, meaning he was wide open for Azai to do with him what he may...

Alexander held the gun in a firm grip as he slept. It was one of the only things he relied on when nothing else he knew was around. Sure he had many more pistols and ammunition scattered around the back of the van, but it was that one in particular that he kept closest to him. He was asleep, yes, but more in a light slumber than anything else. Seeing as how he thought he was alone he felt exposed, unsafe. Anything he thought was a threat when he first awoke would be shot at first and asked questions if he survived the ensuing battle.

.....The ancient but basic predator crept quietly to the back of the vehicle - or the metal beast, as Azai called it - and poked only the upper portion of his head over the lip of the back bumper. His dark eyes, which nearly blended into the exterior color of the vehicle, swept across the innards of the car, picking out every detail with a single, jagged observation.
.....Most intriguing of all, though, was the sleeping creature before him. Over the span of ten or so seconds, Azai lifted his left hand and placed it gently upon the floor of the metal creature's belly; he waited patiently for any reaction.

.....With a sudden quickness, the tribal man placed his other hand 'pon the floor of the black beast's innards and, with surprising softness, lifted himself into the vehicle without rocking it; he sat, as if a paused movie scene, as he had landed: all four appendages flat against the vehicle's floor and crouched much like a loyal canine.
.....For but a moment, his eyes lingered upon the slumbering man. But no more; while his entire body was as if frozen, his eyes alone roamed the innards of this beast with even more detail being brought forth: random weapons lay strewn about the vehicle, some black L-shaped contraptions which were foreign to Azai's eyes, and the scent of food and liquid reached his sensitive nose within a few moments of having entered the interior of the beast.
.....Azai was careful to keep the man in his bed within his peripherals at all times.

Alexander moved his shoulder unconciously, trying to become more comfortable while sleeping. He was still completely oblivious to the creature in his van. A beautiful woman danced with him in his dream. The man was no longer in a light sleep, but a deep slumber. Totally defenseless.

.....[["I'm sorry for being scare on here, but I'm about to actually go into active Marine duty and I've been dealing with such stuff.]]

.....Now quite curious, Azai was roaming about the innards of the black beast freely. Still wary, he would glance at the sleeping man every now-and-again, but for the most part he was at ease.
.....Of course, that was the time during which the worst would be most likely to happen.
.....Picking up random objects that were scattered about the sleeping man's body, Azai examined carefully a handful of objects. About the sixth he picked up; however, was one of the L-shaped metal objects. He turned it over a handful of times, looking at it closely just as he had with several objects beforehand. Glimpsing the empty loop situated at the vertex of the angle, empty but for a single sliver of metal, he stared at it for a good eight seconds before curiosity worked him into messing with the damn thing. The barrel was currently facing to the general left of the predator, toward the windshield of the vehicle; Azai was gripping the barrel as he took his right forefinger and gently fondled the trigger. With a little force, it gave somewhat; the unknowing tribal-man was indeed intrigued.

BOOM!!!

.....With a singe of fiery pain that shot from his hand to his brain, and the sound of shattered glass tinkling onto a metal hood, the gun dropped onto the floor of the metal beast's innards and Azai literally jumped backward, successfully smacking his head against the roof of the car and his back against the wall, eyes wide.

Alexander sat up right, the gun waving from one side of the vehicle to the other, but there was nothing in sight. His black hair was spiked up toward the ceiling of the van on the right side, mainly from being slept upon.

"The heck is going on?" he said groggily.

.....Instinctual tendencies igniting, Azai held his posture perfectly still as the man was startled awake and flailed about the room with his magic boomstick; one wrong move and Azai's face could become shattered as the glass. With caution in every breath, the lethal predator almost melded into the interior of the metal beast, his body's movements slowing and quieting with every second that passed; calmness and collectiveness were the key to success.
.....The dark man watched to see what his newly awakened companion would proceed to do...

Quite far from the stir up and doesn't do anything.

.....[+]"Hore, you whore!" /LULZ/ "So... I wonder if Mister Slumberer is gonna' return? 'Cause I was sorta' 'cited 'bout this character."[-]
