Damien had been away from this planet for a long time. Among the murder investigation on another planet he had other problems he already needed to deal with. He looked over behind him as he landed on the ground and had his wings go inside his back. About a half a mile behind him there was a forest. He sensed alot of power back far in that direction. He turned and headed towards that area.

((Okay, posting IC is pointless, I fought, I lost. It happens eventually to everyone that fights, no need to make a big fuss about it.))

Crumpling over, a massive trauma dropping Valerios to the ground as his body burned from the outside in, a trademark of his elemental essence, leaving only the micro-bugs that had made their way into the demon's body.

(It ain't fancy, but hopefully now there'll be a little less drama.))

[[ -shrug- I still find it odd that Gel gets onto Digi for manipulating the water inside of someone's blood, since it's unblockable, yet Tac's micro-thingies, which is about equally undodgeable(given that you breath-or talk for that matter) gets no such treatment. Digi's seemed much more...friendly, more dissorienting than OHKO.

And, his blood became magma before you said anything, right? Hence, you'd be attacking in retrospect, and since you'd said they wouldn't -do- anything, just yet, I'd believe that'd be a no-no, too.

I'm not trying to be argumenative, I just see some new blood, and saw him get basically owned by some biological weapon that has been in the air, impossible to avoid, and when he had a logicial way to avoid it, that got thrown out, too. That can't possibly be a good way to keep people coming around here. ]]
((It's not about the power but how it's used, which is the same reason why basic telekinesis is a perfectly acceptable power even though anyone could use it to immediately crush a foe's brain or heart - that's an unacceptable use of the power, but as long as they don't pull that kind of stuff, the power itself is just fine. Tac's doom-mist is barely acceptable because he used several posts to build up to it, pretty clearly wasn't intending to kill anyone with it, and the kill shot itself was an automatic trap-type effect triggered by someone else fulfilling a condition; I wasn't a fan of the unblockability, but it was still possible to run from it and a couple of people did just that. As for it being fatal, Valerios requested that it be so, so that's that.))

[[ Tac, ya still didn't defend them being burned alive, only said that they would attack under conditions. Conditions of what, being threatened? That wouldn't happen until the magma thing, then, poof, they're gone, unless they're magma proof. That's what I was aiming for, some kind of defense you'd state against the magma. I wasn't aiming to piss you off or start some argument on how your character should be killed, I just wanted to know the specifics to see exactly who WAS right in this, since you didn't even make an IC post about it.

Completely off-subject:
Val, you should have left a corpse =[

((Who was right? Well, I'll teach you the science behind that. Generally, the person having a thing done to them is right, followed by the person doing the thing in the first place. If they disagree, it has to be discussed between them and anyone else can add their two cents if appropriate. If everyone directly involved agrees that what was done was A-OK, though, then whatever was done is absolutely right no matter what it may be. Even if someone walks into a thread and declares that everyone in that thread instantly dies, it's still only godmoding if the thread owner or anyone in the thread takes issue with it - if everybody accepts it, then it's pretty much kosher. Of course, that's partly subjective (for example, I'd let Tac get away with a lot more than I'd let you get away with, because I know Tac's not going to abuse that leniency and get ridiculous on me, while I hate RPing here with anyone I don't already know because experience has proved that it's usually going to suck immensely), but there's no point in complaining about that, because some form of trust between players is critical to most forms of RP. Become trustworthy and it won't bother you.))

[Lyger, it's been so long that I hardly remember what account it was. I recall cutting someone's arm off though.

Binmax, is there a specific location you're taking Jade? I think I'd like to do business with you.]

Let their Gods quiver in fear, let them defecate and soil themselves, let them tear their eyes out, and devour them in the utmost insanity that consumes them. Let our coming be the sign, the sign that all must end, and none may survive.

[[Thank you, and explaination was all I wanted. Don't want to bring characters into a minefield of micro-doom, after all.

Gel- the reason I asked about the micro-things is because I trust Tac. If I didn't, I would have been 'you turned yourself into a bioweapon? A bioweapon? wtf, man?' when it had first happened. He generally doesn't do stupid s**t. Insane s**t, but not stupid s**t. ]]

Hayden was growing a bit impatient, as he heard more screams from some girl about Torran, although he couldn't make out much more. The red glow still shones through the dark trees like an explosion of blood, and maybe it was this coloring that enticed Hayden to want to get rid of Torran. He had been sent here on a peace mission, but could peace ever be obtained with someone as hot-headed and...well, flat out insane? The fact of his power made it all the worse.

He stood, unwavering, as he had before, contemplating the matter. There were many sides to this, many pros and cons.

((Finally able to continue...my character's taking Jade to the Army of Blight base, and anyone who wants to follow is free to do so; if you're not flying fast enough to catch up to her and you're not being obviously threatening, she'll ignore you. Additionally, you can ignore the thread's first page for the most part, as all defenses are currently disabled.))

OoC : There have been multiple individuals who have taken down/heavily damaged the Steele Syndicate, including myself in defeating Torran but you cannot actually complain if people rebuild or use the same character again, it's sort of like having a Batman type villain like the Joker or Scarecrow.

Comfortable in his lawn chair on the Abram Tank outside of the Syndicate, Han Su would peer through a pair of binoculars to examine the defense and integrity of the establishment before him.

I wonder if we can crash the party here?
