((Its cool, take your time Gelgel.))

((Nero, his blood turned to ash and then became superheated, turning it to magma, which is why I posed the question of his awareness of the situation in the thread. He didn't take the time to read and therefore was susceptible to attack. However, as I don't care enough to kill him and not a total d**k I offered to cut off blood flow and increase pressure as opposed to bursting blood vessels in his brain to cause unconsciousness as opposed to death.))

(Well, I appreciate the support and all, but like Tack says, I got sloppy, didn't bother to read and so without a stated defense against the bug I can't just magically say 'oh' nope, you can't do that it's in my powers, especially when I don't have a profile. sweatdrop I'd say that pretty much covers this fight and my time here, if I could get your permission Tack, (because I know you don't care enough to off me.) I'd like to god-mode your bugs to do the dirty work since as I said before I prefer death to unconsciousness.)

A committed battle junkie - "Why Make Love when you can make War?"
((Sorry for the delay. My wow addiction has gotten the best of me as of late.))

Torran took a moment to take a deep breath, not that it helped him calm down but because he was still a tad groggy from his hybernation. The being in front of him excited the fire and the dark in him. The chaotic and elemental energies flared at the challenge. The strength his mother had given him would finally be teseted.
Pulling up the energy field that was his trademark he barred his teeth once more.

Earth and air must destroy any i cannot see. These two are mine.

Taking a few step to the side that both Mesa and the android were in view hit took the ready stance common to the naginata.

"Lets begin..."

Elsewere on the grounds near Tac and Digi and Val the ground would begin to shake once more and the air would begin to blow harder and harder. The elements protect their mothers creation. At his whim the elements were pissed..

Mesa grinned, his aura dropping away, instead he'd set one foot out in front, the other he'd open a bit and sit behind it. Balancing his weight between the two, he'd bounce the front foot on his toe, both forearms set onto either side of his face. Fists up and balled in a standard Muai Thai stance he'd step forward advancing upon his opponent. Leaning his weight back slightly he'd close the distance between them, baring the stance as he moved never shifting his balance. When close enough he'd move to deliver an inside leg kick with his front foot, aiming for Torran's front leg. It was more of a snap kick, meant to be speedy and connect with the inside of his knee. His weight was on his back foot, so that in the event he could counter or parry.

Arc paused a moment not advancing upon either of them yet, her main mission parameters consisted of gathering recon on the technological and physical advances of Torran Steele and those within the syndicate. Two sub-routines initiated at once, the first was the first step in a four step process to make the A.C.A.D. undetectable. This first step would initiate via a small square box on her back which would open and project a small field about her via the A.R.E.S. system. This field would bend the light around her figure making her invisible to optical detection alone. The second was her primary setting becoming observe mode, the core and all offensive systems would lower themselves to 50%. All defensive systems were active, and the remain power along with the onboard AI's main focus was absorbing every minut detail of the fight that was about to take place.

(I knew it would only be a matter of time before we saw Tac's head explode. rolleyes )

((OMG!!! XION!!!!! *flaying glomp of love* heart 4laugh About time!))

((This is me, caring even less than I did yesterday. I'm sure at least one of you can guess why.))

[God only knows why one would begin to care less in this crux of ginormous ego-deism.]

Hooves struck the ground of Steele Henge; releasing tiny imp-like flames that lashed upon the foot with their tongues. They burnished within seconds, losing their ground against the tumultuous wind. The steadfast pace of a horse's gait still struck the forest floor; what little that wasn't being tossed aside by Steele's maddening earthquakes.

Two eyes locked upon Mesa; as he pushed himself into a prime martial position, and Steele, whose blade held firmly into his fingers, an adamant deity and his prey. The balance of favor was not equal, and Belial sought to make it so. The fingers of Ibril kept the ground beneath Nightmare's feet stable, holding steadfast against any tectonic movements. Likewise, the flow of air molecules that brushed against her bounced back, as they tended to do when struck by an object of greater force.

Though she was half a mile away, Belial's powerful mind allowed her to map out the position of Steele and Mesa from the safest distance possible. Vincent, who had since dispersed from his Master, had put up a barrier between her and the wind. It was thin enough to repel the molecules and cease the buffering sound, yet the simplest of arrows could shatter its delicate structure.

Unbound by the devastating ramifications of nature, Belial was no free to perform her work. Pushing her hands together, her maze-like mind slowly began to draw forth the mana that lay dormant in this rotting graveyard. The fallen that lay their solemn bones upon Steele's expanse now offered their energy to her, retribution for their lives now lost. Like a coffee-strainer, she began to accumulate the tiny bits of energy in little pools, exhausting them every now and then to sustain the shield blessed her from Vincent.

Unbeknown to the fighters, she was slowly establishing a link between her and Mesa, expanding the unfathomable depths of her insanity into his own conscious mental facilities. It was his choice whether he wished to accept or reject the hand she out-stretched, and whether he trusted the hidden power that sought his physical aid.

Torran didnt even twitch or try to move. His trademark energy shield (last post) covered him from head to toe. It moved with him and was an extension of his body. The effect was spectacular and deadly. When put in contact with most matter it would immediatly dissolve the bonds between composite elements, thus turning it into a whispy cloud of basic elements. (carbon, lithium etc..)
It had it limits but few had gotten past it as of yet.

[[ -shrug- I still find it odd that Gel gets onto Digi for manipulating the water inside of someone's blood, since it's unblockable, yet Tac's micro-thingies, which is about equally undodgeable(given that you breath-or talk for that matter) gets no such treatment. Digi's seemed much more...friendly, more dissorienting than OHKO.

And, his blood became magma before you said anything, right? Hence, you'd be attacking in retrospect, and since you'd said they wouldn't -do- anything, just yet, I'd believe that'd be a no-no, too.

I'm not trying to be argumenative, I just see some new blood, and saw him get basically owned by some biological weapon that has been in the air, impossible to avoid, and when he had a logicial way to avoid it, that got thrown out, too. That can't possibly be a good way to keep people coming around here. ]]

Hayden was immediately aware of the power before him, and stopped his steady movement. He looked upon the area intently, his eyes fixed on the plume of energy that had gathered. Slowly, he took off the eyepatch over his right eye and was amazed.

"The hell...?"

The spot of energy had lit up like a fire, everything around it shouting out. Usually, only true, physical pain was visible to Hayden, but now, he could see this. The atoms of billions of micro-organisms were being torn apart, and they, collectively, had the effect, lighting up Torran's presence in the distance like a beacon.

"Definately staying put now..." He said, his survival instinct kicking in.

That's what I call Entertainment
((Nero, excuse me for not being able to defend against my character being burned alive when I'm not home. I'm sorry if I've offended you for trying to ensure that my character isn't killed when I'm not around to stop it. Next time I'll just let him kill me to let you feel better. We'll not even talk about the hazards of not reading whats happening in a thread before showing up or the fact that I wasn't being serious in trying to kill him. Nah, lets just be an a*****e because we obviously can't point out the mistakes of 'new blood' so they keep doing it. Maybe next time he'll enter a thread in the middle of a meteor storm. If he posts more than once and then the initiator of the meteor storm retroactively injures him for ignoring an attack will you b***h at them too? Cause thats your logic here.))

((For reference, more than half the people here defended against Jade's bioweapon. Yeah, totally unblockable. Sure.))

RIP, Randomman

[Really? Damn i was kinda hoping this would be a real fight... I coulda stuck with Khaos if we were gon be power playing.]

Mesa felt the polarity of his energy shield and it would appear as though the edge of his foot and a bit up to his ankle would suddenly be broken down into elements. However the Ga-Ki within his body rushed to the spot, reaffirming these bonds as he'd bring the kick back. It would be repaired before he placed it back on the ground. He'd only shake his head disappointed, no longer did he really desire a battle with this man. Though she was invisible Mesa would signal to Arc, effectively telling her to continue with the mission. Mesa stepped back, deciding this would need to go a bit of a different way if he couldn't physically contact his opponent.

EDIT: {I didnt see TGP's post..]
He sensed her attempts to link with him, interesting he found it as he could not see her, but it seemed positive. He'd open a mental link of one way communication initially, in order for her to respond she'd have to reestablish he link on her end. In doing so it'd allow him the same access into her mind. It would show her intentions should they prove false. "What is it that you desire?"

Arc had received his signal and therefore initiated the second phase of her assassinary protocol. Small receivers on her wrists and ankles would protrude slightly. Using pitch based harmonics, they would effectively absorb the vibrations caused by the A.C.A.D.'s movements before they could be heard as sounds. Thus her audible damper kept her literally from being heard at all, including the inner workings of her body. Her systems began to charge once more...

Systems check, Particle beam 65%, PC 80%, chemical lasers/flash emitters 100%, core 1 80%, core 2 60%, Grav Matrix 75%... Assassin protocol, phase 2 of 4, audible damper complete... Initiating spatial dimensional pocket sequence... ... ... ... ... ... Weapons cache active, bio launcher selected, animating... ... ... processes complete.

Not that it would be visible, but a long rectangular box would seem to suddenly appear from no where next to her on the ground. Her nanite skin rushed from her and swarmed the object, which suddenly began to take a much more definite shape. Four spaces in the front indented themselves and a small tripod dropped down from the bottom raising it off the ground. The four sections became barrels, and the targeting system for the bio-launcher appeared immediately within her HUD. Tactical points on the mansion, and on any and everybody that stood around were highlighted. Mesa in green, the rest in red.

Digi gave a startled cry, falling as the earth shook beneath her. "Damnit Tor! Stop this!" She called out to the water mentally, creating a bubble against the waind, and a surface for hewr to walk on. Damn. Tor was pissed!

( Ah the good old arguing and complaining. Brings back memories. rolleyes )

He was given his access, Mesa, that is. Whether or not he could garner anything from it would be a credit to his own genius. Belial's mind was a hive core of thoughts weaved to be the centrifugal node of some hundreds of other organisms. The Skirges, Ibril, Gram, Nightmare, Mordikai, every single member of the High Court; their thoughts filtered through hers like a colander. Not only that, but the captive collective essences of some dozen people contained as prisoners in Belial's mind echoed their anguish and torture. So if Mesa intended on retrieving Belial's thoughts in the core of her mind, he would have quite a way to go before being granted easy access.

The voice that flowed through Mesa's head was not that of Belial's; but of Mesa himself, so that it would appear that he was speaking with himself, though he would know that was not the case.

"Torran Steele is growing reckless. A being with such power cannot be allowed to be prone to his own emotions. Whether he acknowledges the threat he poses is irrelevant. He must be contained."

The connection established between Belial and Mesa was deeper than perhaps he understood. The full spectrum of the matter was that she was pooling mana for him to use as well, meaning he would be able to release charged attacks from Belial's attacks. She would be able to offer her own abilities to him, but from a distance. On his own, it was questionable whether Mesa stood a chance against Torran. Belial, who never enjoyed fighting out of her own accord, was perfectly willing to play support.

[Looks like we're teaming again, 8. This time instead of guns and gangsters it's dungeons and dragons.]

Let their Gods quiver in fear, let them defecate and soil themselves, let them tear their eyes out, and devour them in the utmost insanity that consumes them. Let our coming be the sign, the sign that all must end, and none may survive.
