She gave him a puzzled look, her lips parting slightly as if she was about to speak, but stopped as she thought for a moment.

Shaking her head, "Well..I guess I was...maybe.." she said finally as she shrugged her shoulders. Laughing softly, she knelt down, and picked up a flier. Reading it, finding the message the same, she glanced up at Taigeku and held up the flier. "Seem you have a problem.." She smiled sweetly.

Taigeku, still being amazed by her presence and fighting back a severe longing, smiled gently.

Oh, yes, I know. I read it from Marty's eyes some time ago.

His tone was thoughtful and slow. Be paused generously before he spoke again.

But what brings you here, Terra?

"Bored...mostly.." She said, as she stood again, wrinkling up the paper in her hand then tossing it aside. "I though maybe I could get some entertainment here..seems..I was right. And why prey tell you are here?"

Taigeku thought for a moment before answer.

I was born here, nostalgia maybe...

He looked about with a bit of comic and looked back, his eyes narrowing slightly.

And I certainly do hope something happens. I've been dreadfully bored, and probably would have staying in Desecrators place all day if not for you. He really is a drain of character.

Almost involuntarily, he took a step forward. To be near her was like an addiction, it was the subconscience in command.

"Your home? A little...dreary.." She mumbled, as her eyes took in the distant surroundings.

Hearing where he was, her gaze fell back on him. "You were there? I dunno I find him..entertaining." She laughed, shaking her head. "But I can see where you are coming from. So what does this message you got rained down on you mean?" She asked, suddenly changing the subject. It was a chance for some fun, and she wanted to become involved if possible. She liked to get into trouble these days.

Sighing, she stepped forward, lifting a delicate hand to place upon his cheek. "Please say that something entertaining is going on, I am so bored and with no one to talk to I am about to lose my mind." A hint of insanity seemed to glisten in her gold orbs.

in the distance, the dull roar of what sounds like B 52s shakes the masonry, ground and glass of the wasteland. Flying in formation at high altitudes, the peculiar contraptions resemble a black stream of birds oozing across the sky, their sound strangely connected to their motion, like locusts...

He glanced to the ground as she mentioned his likeness.

Yes I was there. He was squandering about with some woman.

He rolled his eyes just as returned his gaze to her orbs. Just then the sound in which resembles jets and locust echoed through the air.

Hmm. I think there will be something fun for us to enjoy.

Taigeku, completely silently, linked a message to Marty's brain;

Hide. Now. Hide in the ocean, Don't fight any jellyfish.

((I am incredibly sorry for the gap in time between posts. UGH I hate not having computer access))

as the swarm leaves, it is unclear what precisely happened. The distance seemed miles away, but if anything was dropped, it's image became obscured along with the black motes in the horizon as the river of bombers faded away. How long would it before whatever might have been intended took place? Would there be soldiers? Tanks? Drones? Perhaps something more innocuous like rats, plague infested coyotes, Inland taipan snakes, or killer bees.

Only time would tell.

An illusion?

Taigeku glanced towards the source of the sound, seemingly confused by an unresponding Terra, he simply gazed.

His face would reveal nothing, a slate of pure passiveness.

He was ready for whatever came, even if it meant death.

She was glancing towards the retreating swarm, her gold eyes wide with curiosity. Where had they come from?

She grew distant, losing herself in thought, and she knelt down in her spot. "So confusing, but yet interesting.." She mumbled softly to herself.

He took another step closer to Arretsu and smiled slyly.

You plan on sticking around? His voice was heavily flirtatious.

"Maybe, depends if it gets interesting enough here. So far it is..." She said, as she stared at the ground, her fingers picking at the earth idly. Her eyes narrowing, she tilted her head to look up at him, and studied him silently.

Finally she stood, brushing her hands together to removed the sand. Huffing, she pulled out a hair piece from the pocket hidden within her kimono sleeve, and proceeded to pull her silvery locks into a high ponytail. She noted his sly smile, and a smile of her own graced her lips. "I think I might explore some.."

Taigeku took a step backwards, and smiled.

Be my quest...
His voice was comical. ... But watch out for Marty, he hasn't seen a girl in some time.

It had been over a week. The shock troops had already set up makeshift bases and camps on the edge of a ruined civilization. The mechanics had already begun using their command of technology to requisition rubble and scrap for the construction of their war machines. A minimum standard tactic of the Imperial Army. "Use what's available". It would only be a matter of time before the colossal death machine were up and running, and then, it would roll over and crush everything in sight. As it was, the monstrosity soared more than two stories above it's comrads.

Apotheosis. It's not just a belief system. It's a way of life.
A mysterious man Vladimar was, he wondered the land for merely curiousity. As Vladimar approached the dead zone he scanned the land and prepared his M1911A1. His black trench coat and black hat flapped in the wind.
