Here Comes a New Challenger: LO9L B.R.A.V.O Battle Arena

[Kaimen Clough]

Narrowing his eyes Kaimen stopped firing before slamming both of his hands into the sand.

"Doton: Tsuchi Toge!"

Though the Sand wasn't earth itself, Kaimen knew there had to be a firmer type of landmass holding up the water in the oasis. This that his chakra ran through the ground searching for stone or dirt type material. Once found, it was molded into a spike, 3ft spike only 6 inches thick, and he began to shoot them aimlessly underwater, not exactly being able to see his target.

In this state Kaimen's composition had completely changed now before he was to enter the second phase of this battle.

Underwater countless needles were zipping around. Kaimen was trying to smoke out his opponent, like honey ranchers do to bees. Except Kaimens method was a bit more...extreme.

Recovering himself, Jiga eyes narrowed as he looked backwards. Forcing his aura under him, A blocked of ice formed and he pushed off it, the ice armor still surrounding his form. He reached the other side of the lake away from Kaimen, though not free of injuries. Pieces of his ice armor were gone but it was no big deal. He's kinda glad he wasn't so far away from the surface of the lake.

"Whew that was refreshing. Ahhhh."

The ice armor on his body shrinked away and began to form around his right forearm in a strange way. Manipulating ice enough was an easy task and within a feet next to the lake, creating was just as easy. The ice armor had shrunk down to both arms by now. His very fingers were covered by the ice and his regular nails were now much longer, colder and able to be manipulated. Atleast the ice covering his nails were.

The sand around Jiga's feet began to rise up and ensnare him, trying to grab his entire body and immobilize him with a vicegrip.

Kaimen's own body at the same time seemed to be melting away into the sand.

[Tutsumi]

Entering the arena through one of the visiting entrances, Tutsumi craned his neck from side to side as he looked around for a good viewing seat...to his luck...there were many. He ran his tongue across his teeth as he bared them toward the fight as he then took his seat, crossed his legs, and propped them atop of the chair in front of him.

"OI."

Quickly pulling his feet free, he jumped back towards the water, but he wasn't going under again. Pointing his finger towards the surface of the water, a bluish colored beam came from his finger, hitting the water of the surface. The surface of the water became frozen and the beam continued for a moment layering the ice under the surface and expanding it. He landed on the ice, causing to go under the surface for a moment, before it quickly rose to the top with Jiga standing on it. His opponent however, seemed to vanish below the sand and Jiga was literally a sitting duck. His eyes darted from side to side as his ears remained perked listening for any type of sound. His nose constantly sniffing the air trying to pick up any scent that was avalible.

"Where are you?"

~This guy, he's a real pain in the a**...~

Kaimen though to himself.

~Oh well...~

"Doton: Suna Okaze!"

Kaimens voice could be heard coming from many directions, the sand would kick up and and swirl around the lake creating a tornado like storm, churning that waters as well. Leaves began to fly from trees, as Kaimen's illusioanary Technique began to take effect.

"Kaimen no Jutsu: Suna Kage Buyo!"

The leaves on the the palm trees began to tear from their branches and enter the storm creating a green and gold type of environment, with the raging sand surrounding them.

"Alright.."

Kaimens voice could be heard again seeming to come from the eye of the storm, but if one looked up, they would only see the bright light of the sun.

"Nani."

He stared at the sand tornado surrounding the lake and sighed. The ice beneath his form quicklly formed a dome surrounding his form in 360 degrees as he begin to sat down in the middle of the 4 foot dome. Though small the dome was layered inside, and hopefully strong enough to hold off his attack for a moment. The wolf was constantly dodging, and this whole arena was filled with sand, which meant this battle was to his advantage. Sure Jiga had a lake at his disposal but it wasn't...frozen.

'That's it.'

Using the ice that was already created, he begin to expand it over the surface of the ice. He wasn't going to freeze the area beneath it as he may need to hide in the water for safety again, but for now, the patch of ice was beginning it's spread over the surface of the lake, making the whole top a giant weapon at his disposal.

Standing on his leaf in the eye of the tornado Kaimen flipped through a few more handseals.

"Kuchiyose no jutsu: Taisukeru!"

His gauntlets began to glow from his seal on the leaf a bright flame erupted turning his tornado into glass and debris, as the one horned flame entity circled Kaimen's body before it was absorbed into his gauntlets. Pulling a rice ball from his pocket he quickly began to eat it before pulling out the Tenpan sword.

"Hup!"

Jumping from his leaf he stabbed down towards the dome with the flames raising in temperature, he was planning to cut straight through the dome.

The inside of the dome couldn't be seen from the outside but if anyone were to look inside, they would see nothing but a hole the size of the dome below it. And where was the wolf demon of ice? Right below the ice to the left about 2 feet from the dome, and his opponent had feel into his trap. As soon as the sword got in contact with the dome, the trap sprung. The spikes of ice moved through the air quickly all aiming for one target, Kaimen's body. 8 spikes of ice projected from the area surrounding it. Coming from 360 degrees, the attack was planned while in the orb of ice.

"HAH! I GUESS ITS TIME TO TURN UP THE HEAT!"

With those words a powerful 'roar' could be heard from his blade as Kaimen's chakra jumped to teh 2nd gate. The flames erupted from his blade and began to evaporate the water at an alarming rate, as the amount seemed to cover the entire surface of the lake. And of course, trapped inside the boiling and burning was Kaimens opponent.

As for the spikes there was no doubt they hit Kaimens body, but the did not pierce. Kaimen had changed his Composition to Stone, which is why he stayed away from the water, he'd sink. But now that the water was leaving, he would even out the playing field, in his favor.

Bubbles of air drifted to the ice beneath him, as the wolf eyes narrowed for a moment before he felt the water temperature start to change. The water was evaporating, and that was the main thing that worried him. He was losing his source of power but he didn't need it, but he would take one thing from the water. Forming a block of ice to quickly push off of, his body smashed through the ice and into the air, thanks to some manipulation of it's thickness. His body was facing his opponent and nails of ice covered his fingers.

"You ready for the second part of this battle."

The wolf landed not that far away from his opponent, keeping his eyes on him at all times. Lifting his right index finger towards his opponent, a bluish colored beam shot from his finger and raced towards his opponent's chest area from his opponent's left side. Rock or not, this beam was made especially to pierce. The beam itself was able to pierce through steel, but it is what it did once it came in contact with the inside of his opponent.

Kaimens attack did not only drop through the ice and water, but also into the earth. Seeing that, the evaporating water would have created a thick enough mist to null his opponents vision, giving him a slightly less than accurate chance of hitting Kaimen, regardless, he was not there, at least, not where his opponent was aiming. However, a rumble under the sand his opponent stood on began to become quite noticeable, as a large stone hand erupted in a fashion of ensnaring the wolf.

If one were to look into the basin, they would notice the sand beginning to fill the hole and the rock was slowly disappearing.
