{Got on a little later than expected. Better late than never. }

"What do you mean-"
The woman was cut off by the abrupt sounds of struggle, and then death that came from the nearby abode. Her eyes followed with a sudden nervousness the ebony tendril that led back to the one before her. What was his intent? Had that...thing, that had made that sound, had it been friend or foe to her? Obviously it was an enemy of his. But what of her? He had already made it clear that his stance was biased towards that-which-never-was.
His words only further puzzled her. Then again, everything was puzzling about this place this...
"...STAG?"
Her thoughts dwindled to nothing as his hood lowered, revealing to her not the face she had sought to look upon, but a mask of what appeared to be black-plated steel.
Her reflection gazed back at her in wonder.
She could only nod in silent agreement to his last words, and, without further to do, shouldered the strap of her weapon, and took the first steps in the direction of the nearest intersection, which happened to be the crossing from Nathan Avenue onto Munson street [East Side]. The utter silence that pervaded the area was enough to send something of a familiar chill down her spine. If nothing else, this place reminded her of the Empires in the worst way. The barren landscape could only lend itself to illusion. Her eyes wandered from building to building, finding the rather.. ashen and dirtied sign of Jacks Inn less of a welcome and more of a warning. She stopped for a moment, and turned right around, back onto Nathan Avenue. She would continue up this road before she turned onto any others. Solidifying landmarks might make it easier to move about the... vaguely familiar terrain.
With every step, she felt less sure, and more wary of the one that followed her. Why?

((I can't keep waiting...Sorry Taigeku))

Jessica's thoughts had turned to hunger, she needed fresh blood...and despite the barren appearance of the place there were creatures here...not many but enough for Jessica to sense a decent meal. She walked without care or seeable purpose, dust being flicked into the air after every step she took.

She turned to a rather small building, it was dark inside....no light dared penitrate the darkness at the far reaches of the building. She entered, pausing briefly at the doorway before entering, her blazing white eyes cast an erree glow accross her face and lighting barely a hand infront of her.

There was definatly something moving inside, she could see despite the pitch black, and what she saw was no where near human.....

Jessica decided that this would not do as a meal..she was not sure if it was safe to eat. But it was definatly not visually appealing...She exited the building and walked out of the abandoned city....For now.

((same here))

Desecrator nods at the mention of his now-disbanded organization of STAG.
Saying nothing, he continues to follow until just past Jack's Inn.

"I do not mean to sway you from your own curiosity, but I believe that what you might be seeking, can be found across the lake, north of the road we turned off from..."

His tone seems genuinely correctional, if not in suggestion. And yet, the hint of something known shines through, perhaps giving the appearance that he is not entirely forthright.

((SORRYYYY!!!11!!! My usual computer access was cut short!! I apologize; I'll catch everything up))

As his opponent releases her grip, Taigeku nods silently to the wolf, though disappointed, can recognize her skill. As she walks away, he closes his eyes and opens his mind, searching telepathically for brain resonance; and thusly, finds some and walks towards two people seemingly talking.

((I didn't back read, so if this post is silly, let me know, I'll change))

((Stupid luck chest...I haven't got a key...so it is taunting me crying ))
((Jessica bites Taigeku for not posting!!!))

Jessica returned, it had only been a short time but her belly was not full... Having found a few stray rabbits wandering too close to the outskirts of the city. She wandered back still in she-demon form, her lips were stained with the blood of her kill but that did not bother her in the least, she loved the taste of blood.

She decided that it was time to rest...not there was anywhere particulary inviting to sleep, the buildings were dark inside and there were those gross loooking creatures in there...not many but enough to make her avoid the buildings. Odd that such a powerful being would be put off by the simplist thing...disgust. She could not handle creatures that were completely unnatural, she was used to seeing creatures that did not exsist in this world... The shadow realm was alot better, but she was still not able to go back perminantly.

Jessica stopped by a dead tree, she scrunched up her nose in vague dissapointment. But she would have to make do, she sat down in the dusty earth. Coughing a little from inhailing the dust particles, but when it settled so did she. Falling into a light sleep, she rested her head on her arms which were folded ontop of her knees.

((Watches a tumble weed blow by. ninja ))

Jessica woke from her slumber to see that everything was as it had been before she had dozed off. For some reason she had seen her home land, the castle, the weird dark creatures that roamed free throughout the shadows in the dreamers forest. She was feeling rather homesick...and with that thought she stood, brushing the dust off her dress before walking back intowards the cenre of town...There were still other creatures here.

Perhaps another meal too, yet she doubted the latter. Walking in a rather slow undetermined pace she thought about her first encounter with Taigeku. She was still deciding on whether he was friend of foe...But for some reason she felt a little respect for him...not many people drew blood on her during battle..or even faught back when they were in her shadows grip...But he managed to cut her badley with his mind.

She moved her hand to her side, running her fingers over her new scars...they would heal in a day or two, she was not immortal but if left alone she was able to heal within a week depending on the severity of the wound.

Thinking about her past battles and future ones to come she walked...and walked....

In reaction to his words, she slowed to a stop, and turned sideways, so that she could see him. All her weight was placed on her left foot. Her lips formed a thin line, her eyes giving Desecrator a scrutinizing gaze.
"...What do you mean? What lies north of here?"
She blinked once, as though startled by another thought, and her visage darkened. Why was he making the suggestion, where did he gain the knowledge to even suggest where they might go?
But then... she knew that already. He was as much a part of these lands as these buildings that surrounded them. If he were to know anything, it would be where to look for answers, where the land sang with the most knowledge of what-never-was.
Her body relaxed, and her faced edged away from darkness, to a stoic indifference.
"How do you propose we get across the lake?"
She was hesitant at the thought of another rift in this dimension, let alone being one of two people to pass through it. The one before her was as much like his namesake as... as what? The alternate line blurred here. His name... he had many names. So how could he fall into one category?
Her train of thought wandered, the thought from before gone, stolen away by something wasn't. Isn't. Would never be.

Jessica yawned, she was walking slow and in a semi daze. She did not really know why she had come here...Maybe it was just the feeling that the place had, it reminded her of the shadow realm. But she couldn't shake the feeling that she had been here before.

Shaking her head she simply whispered the word, "Deja voo". The word made her shiver, like someone had run ice down her spine. She was sure she knew this place when she had arrived..But now she wasn't sure if it was all part of a dream or real.

She had lost her memory of this place during her sleep, considering she was in a completely different realm when what never happened was erased. Her body had not become totally in sync with the human world...Arriving here a fews days after her trip back from home, her first sleep signaled that she had finally adapted, of course this was due to the fact that she could not sleep or feed for the few days inbetween her arrival.

Jessica sighed and once again turned to thoughts of her home world, she had not been able to actually live there for nearly 1500 years...maybe longer. Her being did not age like the humans...Not in the least. She would probably live untill she was well 45000 or older, she would not age with her years but rather always seem young. Her dying appearance wouldn't be much older than 40. So aged but still able to fight to her full ability.

On her most recent trip, she had been so saddened to see how it had changed....

((The FFA is really dead.... crying ))

Jessica walked on, she forgot where it was she was going...only due to the fact she was now lost in thoughts about home. Missing her world so very much, the place had changed so much...Not in a good way. The people of light were still there, they would be untill they were sure that had killed her whole family. But her father had escaped...And she was in this world, the light people would very rarely come here...Arrogent and upthemselves...Jessica smirked, she had killed one before she had left and come here. It was a beautiful thing, watching its glowing blood spill out onto the ground, the young man had never seen her coming.

He had been torturing a young shadow horse, the light people used a kind of celestial whip to take control of shadow creatures and civilians alike. It was very painful to see...Jessica was outraged...But to blow her cover would be very dangerous, the young horse screamed in agony, each lash with the whip cuts its flesh deeply and poisond the wound. Jessica couldn't take it any more...In her realm her powers were increased ten fold...She stood up behind the light man, placing her hands on his shoulders..As the man turned his head to see who it was Jessica forced shadow tendrals straight into the mans flesh, they ripped through his inards.

She reveled in his agony as she tore the tendrals out of him through his back, breaking his ribs and ripping eight gaping holes through his back. The light man fell to the ground, she kicked his nearly lifeless body over so she could look into his eyes as he died. The golden glow began to dissapear, Jessica smiled and laughed. The young shadow horse moved over to her, knowing she was one of her kind. Jessica stroked the horse then looked at her injuries, they were bad...Real bad. She placed her hands over one lash and poured her own energy into it...trying to kill the poison. It was a slow and painful process, but after many hours Jessica had finished...The young horse rested, lying down under the seemingly dead shadow trees, Jessica fell to her knees and leaned against the horse...They were both exhausted.

Jessica suddenly looked up...She was back in the human world...It almost brought tears to her eyes...knowing it would probably never be safe to go home.

Desecrator stands adamant against her gaze.
To her first question:

"Well, a building that I recall, yet do not.
Things that happened there, but have not."

His own eyes glare back with its own set of suspicions. More or less observatory in nature, too.

"Why, the most common way to cross a lake, is to swim...."

While he pauses, brings his hands in front of him, towards her, as if to climb through something. And then he disappears as he climbs forwards into nothing.

"...see you on the other side..."

- is all that comes through before his presence is lost to that particular location.

Taigeku isn't impressed.

Casually, he crosses his legs and sits.

((Did you know what I just realised...There is no one left in the FFA who can actually attack us..O.o'))

Jessica kept walking...Not that she seemed to be in any particular hurry...or even knew where she was walking too. It was just something to do, she could sense other creatures here..But whether or not she was going to find them was a different story.

She could also sense Taigeku, she smirked...having a quick flashback to their encounter.

And so she walked...

((If I could walk 500 miles.... xd ))

((Oh goodness... Old faces and new alike. I doubt any of you would remember me though. Especially since I changed my name. If anyone remember Alpha & Omega though.. Chrjo12 maybe. Although I do applaud you Desecrator, for trying to bring this back.))

Help? Donate?
((...Wow, are you going to rp? O.o'...))

Jessica was bord of walking, it was getting her nowhere, the creatures she could sense were moving away from her...Well one had vanished completely and the other was too far for her to be bothered catching up. Sighing with contempt she sat where she was...In the middle of an old dusty road.
