Jessica indeed understood a challange. Her hackles bristled and her wolven lips peeled back in a vicious snarl. Her eyes were now a pure blazing white, glowing with malice, she decided to take the first move, considering Taigeku had issued the challange.
She lowered her head to the ground, her shadow began to sway back and forth of its own accord then leaped from the ground to stand behind her in the shape of her she-demon form. The shadow lifted its arm shot five shadow tendrals directly at Taigeku, they would hopefully latch onto Taigeku's shadow...

Taigeku's eyes watched carefully as Jessica lowered her wolf-like head. As the shadow tendrils darted forwards, he planted his right foot and shot to the right, dodging the attack. But wait, something was wrong, not a moment after he moved did notice that the tendrils weren't quite aimed at him. Then what were they after?...

Ah... the shadow. She had mentioned something about a shadow magic. However, what could a mere wolf creature really do to the absence of light created by Taigeku's form silhouetting on the ground. Out of curiosity, he almost wanted to let her find out.

On the other hand, he really didn't.

Just as Taigeku planted his right foot, he shifted weight to left and threw a wide, low kick towards the beast's exposed belly. As he did this, the power would come from his hip and back, rather then his leg. Simultaneously, Taigeku's raised his hand in a traditional fighting stance. If successful the bottom of his shin would connected with the soft part of the hound's abdomen: the tender spot of most canines.

Jessica yelped in agoney as the kick landed, she turned her head in an instant reaction aiming to latch onto Taigeku's leg, her fangs dripped with poison, which would not kill him as he was not human, but it would cause serious pain and swelling within moments of contact with his bloodstream should she break the skin.
Her shadow also had the same reaction, making a sound much like a screeching harpie, the tendrals may have missed but now Taigeku was closer, the shadow lunged forward over her wolven form towards Taigeku, tendrals shooting forth from her finger tips once more.

Taigeku let the wolf woman's teeth latch on to his leg, simply because one of the wolf's greatest advantages it's ability to out maneuver and move more swiftly than its prey, if not in a pack. As Jessica would break Taigeku's much like human skin, she would taste something... well, awful as Taigeku didn't have blood but a thicker, more irony liquid. This liquid is thicker because it is designed to coagulate faster and to reject foreign objects with more ease, however, this also slows down the endorphin release.

Taigeku grimaced in pain as the teeth sunk in, and since the creature had hold of his legs, moving was nearly impossible. So he would be forced to let the shadows connect to his. I guess he will have to see if this was a bad idea, but curiosity killed the cat.

Not that his opponent was 'stuck' near him, he balances on one foot and leans over with his left hand and just as he does, sand and stones and perhaps pieces of crumbled cement and asphalt surround his hand, making a sort of brass-knuckle-effect. Just as the now hardened mass surrounded his hand, he threw a cross style punch into the soft, wet nose of the canine. In all canines, the wolf's soft nose has the same amount of nerve endings as human genitalia, so if successful, the wolf would be in a great amount of pain, if even able to stay attached.

"I take it that you do not understand, then, just how you cannot accomplish what you are set to do..."

Desecrator does not move to make battle - he doesn't need to. The air around him darkens still.

"Every attempt to remember what never was will simply have you forgetting just what you were trying to remember. It will be like grabbing a handful of water, only to have it fall into nothing and be just as equally lost."

His head drops a little, as if to allow his eyes a lower view; perhaps in thought if not for sight.

"...However, if you are not my enemy in this truth, then perhaps I shouldn't be so hasty to do away with you.
I shall allow your request, if only to make you know truth. Though, I have yet to find it myself..."

Jessica snorted as she tasted the thick liquid beneith Taigeku's skin, but she was latched on for now, her shadow's tendrals connected to his shadow, this was the one thing she needed, her shadow froze in place, and with it Taigeku's shadow would freeze...causing Taigeku to be unable to move...as a shadow cannot move without the object it is attached to moving...visa versa. This was shadow magic, but Taigeku's punch had hit home and Jessica ripped her head away from his leg, tearing her teeth through his flesh as she did so, her face was scrunched up in extreme pain. You are dead!!! She screamed in his mind.

Her shadow moved slightly as Jessica had tore her head away but now it had frozen again. Jessica snarled and began to be engulfed by her own shadow...What would happen next....

"Am I to be lost then, along the median of a world-that-never-was and this one that is?"
There was a certain hopeless quality to the thought, that dug into her eyes, hollowing them out, so that the feeling could be reflected outwards towards anyone that happened to look at her.
Her lips parted, paused, and shut again, a sigh of resignation. How could she make him understand?
"...My time here was of heavy influence to me, and to others around me. I don't need to remember, to realize that much. I swore allegiance to a family by the name of Alpha long ago, but a few years ago...when the dreams first plagued me, things I didn't understand showing themselves, fear overtaking me... It was as though they made me come out of a coma of ignorance to realize I was tied to that which I abhorred. This place.. it strikes a chord, reminds me of those days in which I took flight..."
Her eyes sought urgently to find what hid beneath that hood of his.
"Remembrance.. may not be necessary to know that woman I may have been. Like a man who suffers amnesia, I may begin to recall that which I may have been- not through memory, but through what I find I can and cannot do, places I go, words that are oddly familiar....do you understand?"
Her voice hit a pleading note, as though it was not at all the man who stood before her that she was trying to explain this to, but herself.
"...These feelings, and familiarity have already drawn me here, to a place I never was. I traveled here, not by instinct. It was as though I already knew the way without thinking about it. I was drawn here by the absence of what had been. And I now have met you, someone......someone.."
The words died on her lips.
"...Some-one..."
It felt wrong. He was not a one. In fact, now that she said it, the word felt entirely alien in his description. Dissonance. He hadn't been a someone to her when...
"...You were not like this."
The sentence caused her lips to slope gently upwards into a tiny smile.
"...I don't remember what you were. Or who you were in relation to me. But you were not this."
A triumph in a way. Proof that she could figure out some of the things that never were.
"A truth is only a truth if it rings right. The words, 'Black Morass' mean something to you, and not a thing to me. I had to have met you in what never was... after you came into contact with this, 'Black Morass' then. And sometime, before I met you, you changed from what you are now, to something else. It's all pure speculation. But does such a truth strike a chord with you?"
Her eyes watched him intently.

((Tell me at any time if I've got something wrong about the rules of the memory loss here. Because I'm kinda walking blind right now. I can edit this at any time as well, with a little more explanation as to what's going on here with the wish Des made. ))

At Taigeku could feel the paralytic effects of allowing his shadow to be captured, he couldn't help but smile as the dog was hurt and actually communicating telepathically; his forte.

Standing still, was easy, as his muscles weren't apt to cramping, however, what she might not have known is that Taigeku's homunculus form created with a divine ability in telekinetic and psychokinetics, making it unnecessary for him to move during battle.

As the dog was moved by his punch, Taigeku hard to merely focus on what he wanted moved, and thusly, it was done. Not a moment or so after the dog began going into her own shadow would it find a barrage of broken glass flying at her from the left flank, being willed of the destroyed remnants off a building. The glass wasn't long enough to be fatal, nor was it willed strong enough to move with enough speed to act like a bullet. It was merely to slice.

Jessica was impressed, even though Taigeku was un able to move, he could still use inanimate objects as weapons...But this would do little good as the attatchment to his shadow was not only to paralize him...He was about to find out the hard way.

The glass did slice up her left side, but Jessica only scrunched up her wolven face and snarled with vehemce((Spelling?O.o')) blood spilled out of the wounds but that would not matter for long, she was now covered by her shadow, her body becoming a swirling mass of shadow matter...obviously not of this world. The matter looked at Taigeku with its blazing white eyes...it seemed sad. It moved towards Taigeku never once letting go of his shadow.

"Are you curious of what I am going to do to you Taigeku?" The shadow snicked in his mind, the voice now sounded distant and had a slight echo.

((you're close. Just, instead of regaining memories of what never was, you are losing them. A progressive memory loss.... I can run with what you got, though.))

Rather than more of his face becoming viewable when she attempts to see, the light vanishes and saps away what little there was to see of the bottom half of his face.

"Then this is good. I have remained myself as opposed to some, transformation, that may have come over me.
Though that you remembered something that never happened, and thus changed the course of what is by such influence, proves you to be quite the anomaly."

Desecrator turns his head away from the woman in confusion.

"Odd. So very strange.... if you were close to me, then you should have been more heavily affected than those countless others that I have never met.
Which leads me to believe one of two things: either that you have experienced other lives on the same line, or that you were intentionally left with some memory for a purpose.
... I don't like when the gods attempt to meddle in my own affairs."

His head turns back. His black eyes, though hidden, glare at her with much suspicion.

Carelessly, he rolled his eyes.

Please let it be a massage, I really need one, I've been walking forever.

He smiled a bit and breathed deeply.

Don't be afraid to work the glutes, I'm sore as hell...

Obviously Taigeku wanted to see, and to gauge his opponent's strength for future reference, as he gave up fighting.

The shadow mass stopped, she could feel Taigeku's muscles untense....she was taken aback by this as everyone else who had been captured in such a way struggled against it...making the kill so much fun. She mearly looked at him, her interest was disapaiting.

If you will not fight my grip...then you are no use to me...We shall meet again Taigeku. She spoke softly in his mind, the strainge echo of her voice still there.

The shadow released the tendrals, then began to spin like a mini tornado, it dissapaited and there stood her she demon form, her eyes still a blazing white...she needed to feed and Taigeku did not taste very good at all. She turned and walked away.

You are so awsome!!! Thank you sooo much.
Donated angelicheadband!!

The glare was felt, rather than seen.
"I am not a messenger from the heavens, nor a force capable of altering that which will be.. as I have said before: I am unbound, and unbarred. I am not of any Order or Sanction."
The woman stood her ground, looking more irked at his suspicion than afraid. She was certain in her stance.
"I have always been an anomaly. That I remain as such in another stranger's eyes is no qualm of mine. I couldn't tell you why I remember... "
She shrugged.
"Much like I'm certain you couldn't tell me how you came to your decision to make such a wish."
As he glared, she looked back into what appeared to be an empty hood. The absence of light did nothing to psyche her out.

"And there we have it.
There is no more for us to discuss."

Desecrator raises one hand out to the side without looking in that direction. A tendril of blackness lashes out into the barren space of a house. A sudden squishing, then some snarls accompany this action, only to be cut off abruptly. ... The darkness developing around the man vanishes.

"Go, explore this place, find your answers.... I"ll follow."

He lowers his hood to reveal his face - which in turn remains hidden beneath a mask. A face mask of steel, black as void, as his eyes. Diamond-like slits mark his eyes, and an opening at his mouth outlined by beastly fangs.
