End of an era It all ends with a wish... It all begins with a wish... Narakuten, Nekurajin, Desecrator... call him what you will. The end, THE END. As he stands before the ANTIGOD, the god of paradox, he is presented with a single question: What is your wish? No, it's not Diaboross himself, asking this question - but a simple manifestation of a cosmic force: balance. A disembodied voice, squeezing itself through a sliver in time. As such, time is stopped save for the voice, and his own mind. Needing not the answer in words, the force gleams from the man's mind, just what he would wish for if he could do it all again. Turn down the Oni that destroyed his clan? No. Stopped the demongod from stealing back its essence? No. The answer rests in the pivotal moment of his original death, where the core of the android has latched onto him, and destroyed his body to create its own. The wish? "... that I had never entered the black morass that day..." And so it is done. In the blink of an eye, a divergance of the timeline is created, then forced over the current one. Everything that happens as a result of that divergance, happens. People that were killed by the demon, never were. Monuments built, guilds desroyed, plans schemed... none of that occurs. And as a result, Desecrator finds himself standing alone in a clearing. Sure, people will remember things as if the wish wasn't made... atleast for awhile longer... but ultimately, they will go to the lives they know to be NOW, and not how it could've been. |

Description/Defenses
The city is long-abandoned due to coal-fires that have long-since burned out. The fog/smoke that once covered the town has lifted. Atmosphere lends itself to a complete ghost town. Maps: North West East The only troubles you'll find here are the occasional aberration still wandering the streets and hiding in the buildings... and the guild members. *Note: a guild is not just its base. To lay claim to the destruction of a guild one must defeat its members, either in totality or in their withdrawal of their base. Though if wanton destruction is your wont, then you have come to the wrong place. |

RULES
1. No space-ships... keep it to soon-to-be tech at the most(i.e. metal gear minus the metal gear) 2. Magic is allowed and encouraged, but no auto-hit spells. Harry potter style allowed, as that must be aimed. 3. No armies/battallions. Squad-sized is the maximum(approx. 20). 4. Preventable WMDs only. (i.e. 10-turn prep, or 5-part req.) |

Jessica stood on the eastern outskirts of what was once her home, tilting her head she faced the sky...still grey and overcast although the air around her was clear.
She looked back towards the city, well what you would asume was a city. It had been years since she was last here...young and naieve, now 20years old she was wiser, stronger and a hell of alot meaner. "He will be back..." She casualy said aloud, as if there was someonme there to hear her, even though there wasn't. She turned around and began to walk away, her silver hair flowing behind her like a ghostly blanket. ....She would return.... |
