Fairy Tale Pregnancies?

So ok. Doing this drawing of one of my OCs. The theme is "Fairy Tales" and she wishes for a baby. SO I wanted to do some kind of spin off like that.

I know of, of course, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel but I was wondering of anything else..?

I also read something yesterday of one where the women was suppose to get pregnant from eating a flower petal but because she ate the whole flower, she gave birth to an animal.

Any help would be nice. heart

There's all kinds of fairy tales involving pregnancies, as beginning, end or plot point. There's humans birthing animals and vice-versa, objects/animals becoming human because someone wanted a baby, changeling tales... way too many to list. Anything specific in mind or just that and the flower/animal thing?

Pregnancy is really, really common in all sorts of mythology and folklore. Based on your two choices, I would say look at The Seven Swans, which you may have heard of, and The Silver Hands, which you probably haven't. Also, if you simply need a small child, not necessarily a pregnancy, try The Juniper Tree, which has both a pregnancy, two small children, murder, cannibalism, magic, revenge and (to my sick, twisted mind, at least) a fair amount of very grim humor.

There is also snow white, cinderella, little red cap, and that's all i can remember.
