Welcome to Gaia! ::

I'm making some alfredo pasta, and I need to know another side dish I could serve as well.
Salad is out of the question, it went bad. : (
French bread? Um.. some kind of stir fry, maybe some beef?
i think maybe some kind of pan-seared fish would go well with alfredo pasta =]
Ceasar salad is rather nice with it

Eggplant parm/ chicken parm.

I'd go with eggplant parmesan on this once. Alfredo can be high calorie, but if you look hard enough, there are eggplant parmesan recipes that are low fat and healthy enough you can go back for seconds and thirds.
Umm, hm hm hm~

ohhhh~ also maybe some garlic bread or french bread n_n..FOCCACIAA~! biggrin
mushrooms are yummy too.. heart heart

OMG, you nailed the starchy sides right at garlic bread. Buttery and it'll go to your waist but SOOO good warm from the oven.

I personally would go with broccoli. Alfredo is a main course. It would not be a good idea to make two main courses like fish or stir fry.

Garlic bread would go well with both the alfredo and broccoli. If for some reason you don't like broccoli, any green vegetable should be okay.
grilled chicken and broccoli
Spicy grilled Italian sausage and fire roasted red peppers.
It's absolutly delicious.
any kind of protein will do.
You HAVE to make homemade Italian bread.
Don't go to no store and buy Italian bread...make it yourself :[

If you don't have homemade bread on the table...i'll stamp your dinner as "failure" :[

Pasta HAS to have bread
.....and pepperoncini peppers >>

Some good garlic break, or your favourite steamed vegetables (which can be done easily enough these day with the microwaveable ziplock bags), or just some fresh veggies with your favourite dressing.
And if you'd prefer to have a less plain alfredo, might I recommend buying some blackening seasoning, and blacken some chicken to go in it. So very, very good.
