I had the misfortune of tasting Vegimite. Some guy in my class had a jar of it and said it made the yummiest sandwhiches. So I had a chunk of bread with that stuff on it. Oh my god that was gross! I don't see how people can eat that stuff, it's like salt mixed with stuff off the bottom of a shoe. gonk

So, does anyone actually like that stuff?

vegimite isn't the worst thing i've tasted but it's pretty bad. i had a friend from austrailia in high school who basically lived off the stuff. i tried it once and couldn't finish it.

Viva la Vegemite! I ate it yesterday on Australia Day - I feel so patriotic biggrin

The best way to eat it, I think, is on biscuits like Vitawheats, then it's delicious. Many people also eat it on Toast or Vegemite sandwhiches with cheese razz

It's really one of those foods - you hate it or love it, there's no inbetween sweatdrop

I'm a happy little vegemite as bright as bright can be!
Hee, I always have it for lunch. That and jam sandwiches. They banned it in America, I think. It's not Aussie owned anymore, at any rate, which is a bit of a bummer =(

It's spelled Vegemite

The company that makes it was bought out by Kraft, an American company

I scrape it on my toast and it is delicious

I have a friend who will scoop it out onto a sandwich to about half a centimetre thickness

Vegemite is awesome
