Arnold Palmers: Tea and lemonade, usually.
Otherwise, I never drink tea, haha.

I worked with a guy once who drank Arnold Palmers with 20 sugars. eek

Tea fact!

In Chinese tea ceremony, the tea is poured in a continuous stream back and forth across all the cups until the pot is empty to ensure that each cup is the same strength.

20 sugars?! That's barely drinkable. burning_eyes
With that much sugar, there's no point in the tea, since the sugar is just going to overcome it. (plus, really sweet lemonade is crap)

Yeah ... I thought it was gross too. I'm one of those people who don't put anything in their tea unless they're drinking it the way a specific nationality makes it (British tea, Russian tea, Tibetan tea) or am adding honey because I'm sick.

I always drink it with nothing added to it, save for a little bit of sugar if I screw up making some homemade (which is only occasionally), or if my nose is so stopped up I can barely taste it.

Actual tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant.

Tea Fact!

Earl Grey is a scented tea, because its distinctive flavor comes from oil of bergamot, a citrus fruit.

Tea Snack Idea!

When making a white cake (or cake mix), add strongly brewed tea instead of water for a new flavor- you can add the leaves too, if you're not using full-leaf tea. Good teas to do this with are Earl Grey, jasmine, lavendar herbal infusion, and orange spice (uhhh ... don't add the herbal blend to the orange spice. You'd have chunks in your cake because most blends use chicory). Lavendar and Earl Grey also make a delicious combination.

Tea Fact!

The process by which tea is heated to break down antioxidants and bring out the tannins is called "oxidation".

I love tea! I drink it all the time, some of my favorites are silver- tipped oolong, kumbacha green tea, and most of the Tazo tea flavors. I never add anything to my tea because it distracts from the flavor. and i don't make a cup either. The way i make is with a coffee pot, i fill up the water, then i throw the tea bags in to the plastic bowl (where you put the coffee and filters; after i washed it of course!) then turn it on. great brewing time plus the coffee pot keeps it warm till i need to make more.
I love Oolong tea!!! i just drink it plan though.

I'm not a tea drinker but I keep going back to a fruity orange blossom white tea from The Republic of Tea. A dash of honey with a squeeze from a fresh lemon wedge, and this tea is fabulous. 4laugh

I like red chai tea more than any other kind. I also really enjoy Thai tea.

I've only had Thai tea once, and didn't much care for it. It was awhile ago though, so I've been wanting to try it again in case I got it from a place that didn't make it very well. I just haven't been to a Thai restaurant lately because my husband is a picky eater. >.<

Tea Fact:

Lapsang Suchong is a black tea that has been smoked. (The unsteeped leaves smell a little like pipe tobacco, but the tea has more of a smoky, woody flavor)
