I like both, depending on the kind of pancake/waffle.
I storngly dislike American pancakes, but crepes, Dutch pancakes or ''poffertjes'' are delicious.
Same for waffles. I dislike those dry waffles, or potato waffles. But I love Belgian waffles.

While I do like pancakes, I have to go with waffles. I like the crisp outside texture, while the inside is nice and chewy. Also, I don't always like how soggy my pancakes can get after I put the syrup on them.

Although, I hate making waffles from scratch (even though I dislike most kinds of frozen waffles), because my waffle iron is huge and a pain in the neck to clean after I'm done using it. It's an old one, made completely of metal, and I think the waffle grids are cast iron. I think. I've only used it twice. ._.

...Although...I just thought of something. I think I shall make myself a ton of waffles, then freeze them. And then I can have waffles for breakfast by just popping them in the toaster.
