When I want to try making Japanese food, I sometimes like to watch the chef in CookingWithDog.
Ochikeron!

Her recipes are always pretty cute, imo.
Cooking with Dog is really popular. I like my own Caros Cooking smile I'm not huge on watching cooking videos online. I actually like one from an Australian women who does a lot of baking things. Maybe its called How to Bake that or something??

Cooking with Dog was how I learned how to make JP-style Hamburg Steak (a.k.a, "Hambagu~! >u<" ). Since then, Cooking with Dog is where I've gone on YT for those days when I really crave some good yoshoku noms. OuO

On the other end of the spectrum, there's the BBQ Pit Boys at BarbecueWeb. Recently saw their recipe for Mashed Potatoes with Steak and Bourbon Gravy. As much as I love meat, I never thought of using a cheaper cut of meat as part of a gravy to put on some mashers and a finer cut of meat until I saw said video. +u+

Been hooked on BarbecueWeb ever since. @u@

Mosogourmet is fun to watch. So is Maangchi (Korean foods! :: waves spoon and chopsticks in the air:: ). I like to watch the videos about cakes that CookingwithDog makes over and over.

I've yet to find a good channel completely devoted to fancy cakes. It would be my food porn.

Actually, meat dishes and vegetarian dishes aren't so different in a lot of popular Indian dishes because almost everything uses the same masala. If you want to really just simplify some Indian dishes, you can start everything with the base masala and cook from there.

The masala is usually tomatoes, onions, garlic/ginger (you can blend it to a paste), and a number of spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, red chili powder .. and I think some other ones, I forget. You fry it all up until it's really thick and dark brown and then use that masala to cook with! You can make amazing vegetarian dishes with that base, like palak paneer (spinach with Indian cheese) or more simple vegetarian dishes like peas/mixed veg cooked in the masala or hard boiled eggs cooked in that masala (which sounds somewhat strange, but is delicious). You should try these! They go great with lentils and a few other dishes with rice.

EPIC MEAL TIME
Harvey is just super cool and funny and their use of bacon makes me happy in ways that i can not explain. Plus its super crazy wild food that you will never see anywhere else.

Its also interesting to see how they can get all the food and not die
