Me and my friend had brought lots of bananas cheaply but we still got lots leftover. So I though we should bake with it.

My first thoughts was to use it for banana cake but I don't like it when it goes over a day old and you can see the black stringy bits. Then my friend said try making Banoffee Pie but I wasn't sure because some recipes use biscuit base or short crust pastry.

The next thing is the caramel ingredient, should I buy condensed milk and make it myself or buy ready made version. So what do you guys suggest?

Bananas Foster is good and really easy to make. Slice bananas lengthwise. Melt butter in a frying pan, add brown sugar and spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and/or allspice to make a sauce, then add bananas and cook for a minute on each side. Add rum, igniting if you wish to make a flambe, and serve over ice cream.

I hear simple grilled bananas are the bee's knees. Keep them in the peel and toss them on the grill like that or wrapped in tinfoil. Let them cook for about ten minutes until the inside is carmelized. open it up and serve it like sweet potatoes with brown sugar, marshmallows, and some chocolate syrup. Or ice cream. Everyone loves ice cream. heart

Banana bread is also an awesome treat. You can use a giant muffin pan, or a mini cupcake pan, or anything between. *la-di-das through his recipe books for more banana treats*

Thanks for the banana ideas, the grill one doesn't sound bad because I'm going to a BBQ tomorrow.
