everytime i listen to FFVIII, i realize how much i like the soundtrack. it's funny, whenever i just think about it, i don't really care much for it. then voila, i actually listen and realize i don't want to skip like any of the songs.

everytime i listen to FFVIII, i realize how much i like the soundtrack. it's funny, whenever i just think about it, i don't really care much for it. then voila, i actually listen and realize i don't want to skip like any of the songs.
That's exactly how I feel, I don't care for the soundtrack. But I listen to one track, and then it's an hour later, and I haven't skipped a single song. I was gonna put down VII and IX, but as I was composing this list, VIII was the hardest pick one track for. So I finally accepted that VIII is the best.

Just because of my own musical tastes, FFXIII-2 is my favourite soundtrack. Especially the Aggressive tracks. This would change though if there was ever a mostly metal soundtrack. xD

However, that's only my favourite, like I said, because of my taste in music. However, sticking to the classical scores, IX would be my favourite OST.

XIII and XIII-2 OSTs were quite mind blowing.

VIII is the best, imo.
XIII and XIII-2 have some great tracks.
VII and X aren't amazing, but there are some very iconic songs in there.
IX....I think Melodies of Life is STILL my favorite vocal theme of them all.

I am going to have to say Eternal Harvest, Red Rose of May( Beatrix's theme), and Melodies of Life for Final Fantasy IX and Aria di Mezzo Carattere from Final Fantasy VI are my favorites.

My faorite soundtrack is from FFIX "You are not alone". The orchestral version is wonderful! biggrin

Final Fantasy 6. The opera scene was sooooo awesome, along with kefkas theme, and let us not forget terra's theme. so awesome.

Im too lazy too post a link... but the remix's of I, II, III, IV, V, and VI's music from Dissidia 012 Duodecim was pretty awesome, in my opinion 3nodding
