Which Game is your favorite and why?

I'd have to say Final Fantasy 7. It's the only one that I'VE played, [I've seen/watched others play some other ones] but it's the only one that I will have interest in. Not only does it have a plot that you can't beat in a day, [my opinion] but it keeps you interested. It was genius for playstation.

For me my all time fav has to VIII because it was the first in the series that i had played and the character portrayal of Squall as the strong silent type who doesnt want to depend on people for fear of being let down resonated with me

I like FFVIII, the Gun Blade is jst so AWESOME !! hahah and all the caracters are soo awsome xD and had some variety of puzzles and hard quests ^^ heart

Final Fantasy VI is my favorite, no second thoughts there. I really enjoyed the storyline and it was one of the few games where I actually looked forward to fighting the final boss. It became my favorite about a year before Dissidia was announced. I also enjoy the music, especially since Terra's theme is remixed several times into different songs in the game. Sadly, it wasn't always my favorite. Before I found out on what I was missing, I liked VIII, hence the avatar and name on here lol.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy 4. The re-done CG animated opening on FF4 for DS is pretty awesome, I am also fond of the music tracks for it. whee It probably became my favorite after the first time the opening played. I was excited for it. The game play isn't that bad either. It displaced FF7 for me. FF7 was the first and on a whim I decided to buy FF4 and fell in love with it. Nothing can't beat it in my mind. Rydia is probably my favorite character. I'll be cosplaying as her. 4laugh Sadly, not manly people I know have ever even heard of FF4 sweatdrop crying

Probably 13 as it was the first main Final fantasy game i ever played. I sadly never owned a playstation or PS2 to be able to play them. I recently got into 6 on my Wii and i must say it is one of the best games i ever played probably in the top 10 and i only just got past the three scenarios. So im gonna change it to Final Fantasy 6 now =)

Why do you like it so much?

I played it the most and fell in love with all the characters. I associate this game to one of the first final fantasies I played. Also, the fact Zidane wasn't a whiny pessimistic main character really does help.

My favorite game is FFIX. I like gameplay, musik, plot, charakters. I like also Chrono Cross xd

I love Final Fantasy X, no hands down, because of the amazing story line and awesome characters. It's one of the few games I've ever cried while playing. I've loved FFX for about 8 or so years. I've pretty much loved it for a long time, and only the Kingdom Hearts game have ever come close to being as amazing as FFX in my opinion.

Final Fantasy XII: Longest/best gameplay, best story and character development, and the dubs are the best...out of the games I've played.

FF7 because..
It's got an amazing story line, a lot of fun, sad, amazing, cool parts. The story is just amazing in many ways, it's hard to describe how much I love it.. sometimes I end up having crazy dreams being in certain parts of the story line, like when tifa and cloud fell in the lifestream and tried to figure out who he really was, I had a dream being in there once.. xD and other places.
The music is just perfect for my ears, I listen to it almost everyday, if it wasn't for the songs it has now, it wouldn't have been a perfect FF for me.
The characters are awesome, Cloud and Sephiroth make a perfect hero and villan with their personality/looks/weapons, and the turks, the party members, they're all so awesome ;-;
more to write but there's my why.
FF8 because..
The story was pretty awesome as well, I preferred FF7's, but this one was great too. unfortunately I couldn't beat the final boss though, since I couldn't get the ultimate weapon, I kinda suck when it comes to searching craft materials to craft something ._. So I was going around with average/semi best weapons, not ultimate x.x
I love the music from FF8 too, I hear it a lot as well, not almost daily like 7, but close. FF8 music is also perfect to me.
The characters well xD yeah, awesome, but I don't like ultimecia, she's got such amazing power, I admit she could own Sephiroth, maybe if she stopped time or something, but witches aren't my thing xD Squall was an amazing main character, his gun blade is awesome and I'm not sure which is better between the buster sword or the gun blade.. but if I had to pick one to have irl, it would be the gun blade, because I can't carry the buster sword xD while the gun blade is one of the best small swords out there, awesome details. Irvine was one of my favorite characters too, using him like in the prison running in circles was awesome, he could've done a great main character in my opinion as well. :3 I never thought of that with anyone else in FF7, so props to him xD
