Sticky: Which Game is your favorite and why?

Final Fantasy 7 has to be the best game ever. I have hundreds of games and I downloaded Final Fantasy 7 on my PS3. It's the only game I can play over and over again. The characters and storyline are all awesome. I even like how they did the magic for the game. I had so much fun playing the game and always will.

The GBA remake of final fantasy V has to be my favorite. It's a nice game and Bartz cracks me up; he's the biggest dork from any video game I've played. They did a good job with him in dissidia too (though I prefer playing as the onion knight) ^_^

The original is a close second. Final Fantasy ten is third.

final fantasy 8 really was the only reason why i got into the final fantasy series. i played a broken version from my cousins when i was little, then remembered it and bought it on amazon. then i beat it then i was happy that it had a happy ending.

My Favorite has to be Final Fantasy 9.
Its Cute, Funny, with nice graphics, and interesting characters!
They might not be sexy, or good looking, but all I have is pure love for that game!

Final Fantasy X is my favorite.

To me its still the only good one. all the FF games now converting from turn based to real time make it feel almost like a hack and slash.
FFX-2 was rushed and was trying to live off the shadow of FFX so it was less then appealing to me.
I played FFVII 7 years too late coz i wasnt into those type of games. but i did go back and play it and i still own it after i beat FFX. coz my friends talked about it alot. it was ok. but i cant fully appreaciate it coz the graphics are stone aged, the music was good. and all the reading sometimes i was fast forwarding through.

i never played FFXI. FFXII was straight up lame. i actually took back my special edition FFXII and traded it for another game. it had no story line. i say im sad to see it got game of the year. plus the main character looked alot like Tidus from FFX.
I seen the videos for the new FF game and so far im still not impressed...and then already hearing of FFXIII to me it feels like the company needs to fall back into that rut that created Final Fantasy to begin with.Coz all it feels like now are company just putting games out to make a fast dollar. Quantity over Quality....wich is rediculous...

FFX became my favorite back when i was a Junior in High School. I always said ill never play a game where i have to go through menus to select an attack to fight. i was apart of playstation underground and got the demo disc that had like 6 games on it i played the other 5 over and over and got tired of them, so i figured i wuld tinker with FFX and see how it was. needless to say i bought it and i have over 200 hours on the game.

I dont think it replaced any personal favorites coz the only game i liked before that was Super Metroid, and i still like that game.
but now any RPG i play gets compared to FFX so far we havent had much success living up to that much less exceeding...

out of all the final fantasy games my favorite one is final fantasy12 mostly because of the viera character who remindme a bit of my self. sweatdrop
