They remake all of them for the console? Then everyone's happy, and the sure as hell make a lot of money out of it.

Well, you sir have just made an a** out of ones self.
If they did indeed remake 1 to 10 on a console with the power of the PS3, then Square would indeed make a lot of money, and that's all they're really out for. This is only my opinion of course.

If they were only out for money, then a remake of the original Final Fantasy VII would've been made a long time ago. If they went remaking every single title, there would be doubt about "should I buy this, or wait for a remake?" and there'd be no appreciation for the original titles.

I don't really care for remakes, but it would be nice if Square remade FFVI with a graphical make over like FF I and II for the PSP. Also the cutscenes on the PSone version did leave me wondering "what if the game was done like that?"

But what I'd really want is a Final Fantasy collection disk for PS3 and 360. One disk with Final Fantasy's 1-9, of course that'll never happen even though I did hear a blue ray disk can hold up to 50 gigs, but I could be wrong.

FFIX for PSP or DS

V and IV for the DS. They are the only ones that need to be remade right now.

VII, VIII and IX DON'T NEED REMAKES FOR ANOTHER 10+ YEARS OKAY STOP IT THEY SHOULDN'T BE REMADE.

Having said that I would love an X and X-2 remake on one cartridge for the DS. It would have crap graphics but HEY I DON'T CARE. Still Squeenix shouldn't make that.

None of them should have a remake.

But that doesn't mean there won't be any more remakes.

But, I doubt there will be a remake for Final Fantasy VII for some time, seeing as it's just been released on the PSN.

ffiv's been remade like twice; but i'm not complaining, it's a good game biggrin .

anywho, ffviii would be enjoyable if they had a remake. but i'd prefer ffix.

I really don't want to see VI remade. It's mah favorite, and it's beautiful the way it is. Plus, the silly N64 demo with FFVI characters drained all their charm, even if it wasn't supposed to be super amazing. If anything, just port it, don't change anything more than up to the GBA version.
