I mostly like the music and the characters. heart

The biggest part I enjoy is the story.
I love the music, I could listen to the soundtracks for a while, and I like to learn them on piano.
I love the characters, I get attached to them.
Oh, and the overall atmosphere/locations. Sometimes I just like to stare around at the pretty scenery x:
I really love the songs and the characters. The stories are really well thought out too. The graphics for the newer ones are amazing. smile

The things that I have always enjoyed about Final Fantasy is such a massive list, but I'll try to keep it short XD

One of them being the handling of the characters, their progression through the story and how they develop along the way. Normally it's for the better, which I kinda wish they had some to the bad side development, they tend to not get it right when they try, but points for trying! The characters are also colorful, they normally with astectially interesting designs (your mileage may very there though, I personally thought FFXIIIs character design was ridiculously over the top. I like the KISS principle when it comes it designing a character)

The characters also tend to have nice personalities, making me want to see them succeed and to keep playing to see how they react to the world and situations around them.

I also enjoy the battle systems in Final Fantasy. Some more then others, but I do like ATB element or the turn base, mainly the ATB system in the earlier games is ones I like. It makes the battles feel a bit quicker and yet demand an element of strategy of timing and hoping you got a healing spell before the boss gets a group attack out. I didn't care too much for FFXs, being turn based and all but the leveling up was rather fun even if it was just on a line. It certainly was pretty to look at.

The worlds that the game is based in as well is always something interesting, the way they present the world to the character is often large and granduous. Though it can feel a bit empty with how far towns can be from each other, it makes it hard to believe that the towns interact in trade or news at all, a small detail but I think too hard on that sort of stuff XD

Hmmm the stories are simple, starting off small and grow into something larger with the exception of a few of the games which didn't slowly swell so it felt a bit hard to get into the story. Or they also got a bit congested with confusing terms and badguys reasoning for what they're doing, which needs a bit of a narrative clean up and it can be damaging to the all around plot. But most of the time they handle the story okay throughout the game, UNLESS they do the 'read these massive paragraphs to get the plot!' No no. Don't do that FF, you have done better then that.

I think there is more, I do find the monsters fascinating (the older ones, the newer ones tend to look a bit too... shiny roboticy with less interesting organics. But it made sense for the setting of the game)

OH, the music is simply nostagic and very well done. They have interesting swells and builds the way the music goes, and the way they use the music in the games fit perfectly. Except for FFXIII, I don't think I have hated music in a game more then that game and it's sequel. Yeahhh lets toss in random vocals! That isn't jarring or annoying to listen to when you are listening to the characters talking at all!

That's about it for me, sure there's more but I think that massive post is enough XD

I would have to say the open ended gameplay. I can travel around and explore, but at the same time I know where I am headed next so that I'm not completely clueless. Also the amount of depth most characters have.is interesting, and how that effects their actions/thoughts. I also love the little Easter eggs/recurring things such as the Chocobos and the different Cids, The best thing though is the ability to jump straight into a game, without having to play the numbered games before it, for example how I first played Final Fantasy VII before going to numbers 1-6. Such a wonderful series. heart
I guess I am going to have to say everything about the games though not so much for Final Fantasy VIII or Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, which are of the few games that I can't really stand in the series.

I'll be honest, I don't know anymore.
I mean, at first it was a game with cool anime style, but everything I used to like about final fantasy was done better in Kingdom Hearts.
I haven't liked many of the more recent games, but I loved IX and Tactics for their lore, storyline, characters, and the beautiful worlds they lived in. They were both great games that kept me entertained for hours.

Also, the cinematics and music. After looking back at when the games came out, I was always impressed by how beautiful the cut-scenes were. The music seemed to always fit the situation at hand, instead of some games I've played where a character died and happy-go-lucky music blared in the background emotion_donotwant
No other music can be compared to FF music, so that's 1 thing
great characters, story, the gameplay is really fun, I wish there was a MMO similar to FF7, all I can think of is Wonderland Online, I know there's FF11 but I don't pay for MMO's, since a majority are boring and the same. Wonderland just needs more male characters and more details in the game, there was just something I didn't like much about it.

I enjoy the music.

I enjoy the mysticism about it.

I enjoy the class system.

I enjoy the deep storylines.
story, characters, music
The stories, I haven't played a Final Fantasy game yet where I haven't enjoyed the story, even if I didn't like the gameplay (for example Final Fantasy XII). And I haven't played Final Fantasy XIII much, only put in about 20 minutes, but I didn't like it from what I did play.
