Good game. I was wondering if someone had the strategy guide and if they did if it stated what the different characters were best suited for. IE: Weapon wise, skills, etc.

yes i need that very question Answered too im having a very tough time master the idea be hind the LP stuff most of the time i just get wut i can lol

umm this ws probly answered already but the LP idea was to try to create a team that was suited for any situation like if ur caster died..then ud have another really easy... it pretty much just made the game into make alot of the same kinda character cept with different weapons ( hopefully)... it kinda ruined the basic idea of FF making use of individual character stregths but all in all it was/is a good try
anyways back on topic u want all ur characters to learn all the white magic and green magic spells if nothing else and then u just go along ur chosen weapon and armor path for each person keeping in mind the pros and cons of each kinda weapon/armor like light gives u more hp but less defence.. heavey gives u more defence but less hp and basic stuff like that

I still need to kill Yiazmat.
He's at the point where
almost all of his physical
attacks are one-hit KO's.

And when it's not a KO it's a 12+ chain. xd

If you can live long enough to see him nail you with a 12 hit. xD

At this point. Turn off all gambits, except for Arise/Raise and Attack. Because at this point that's all you need. Because you're characters are going to be dieing soo fast that buffing them is a waste of time. That's how I did it atleast. o-o

At 80+ hours, I had beaten the game 49 hours ago. xD

I was thinking about doing that, but what if he one-hit's my whole team?
I have that type of luck :/

That's the issue I ran into, I couldn't keep anyone alive long enough with no buffing to do any damage.

Platinum?! PLATINUM!? Your armor is SERIOUSLY outdated for that far into the game. Platinum is the first in armor 7. I'm pretty sure that you can get Dragon mail (armor 8 ) in Balfonheim Port, if not at least Carbineer mail. But you can do even better than that go into the Necrohol talk the the merchant there and get the Maximilian armor (armor 9). Arguably the best armor in the game. (yes I realize the grand armor (armor 10) is the next level up, but it's such a pain in the ******** a** to get and it's not THAT much better.) Then go down into the Barheim passage, go all the way to the end (where you crashed after escaping Nalbina) Talk to burroh there, buy Golden skullcaps, Second best mystic helm in the game. There you go, uber in no time. xd

Ever have a Brilliant "DUH!" moment? I just did.

I'm sitting there wailing on Fafnir, dude has a mill+ health. Not too much of a challenge, but a bit time consuming. I have reddas in party so beserk, haste, and bravery his as and there's a bit more Fiahpowa. Well ashe who pretty much was slinging spells non-stop was running out of MP. I was like "damn I wish I could transfer Reddas's useless MP to Ashe!" Then it hit me.....syphon. I used syphon on Reddas. Instant 250 MP. I'm such a retard for not thinking of this sooner.

No, I don't have Platinum armor equipped on them. I have the Maximilian armor on everyone. I suggested Platinum armor because it has Protect as it's equip-effect.

That's what I've ALWAYS used Vaans mp for. xD Considering how fast he get's it back it's perfect. And during the Yaizmat fight, I had both Ashe and Basch syphoning Vaans mp. xD

ill give you that its hard to get into when you play it. its pretty dang long too and barely any movies. but the story line was ok?

i wanna go ahead and say this i played the game through and it was alright. all my characters are at lvl 54 right now. i wanna try to see whats at that bonus level in the pharos of ridorana where after you beat it you can take the elvator at level one to the ?? floor. the monsters are freakin murder down there!! what is important down there? i need to know before i waste my time for nothin lol wahmbulance

Pharos - Subterra. Good place to level. Umm....a ribbon, Circlet, Dueling mask, Lordly Robes, Ultima Blade, Dragon whisker, holy rod. Also the Phoenix boss, Shadowseer hunt, two rare monsters Luxollid and Vagrant Soul. Which you can steal Staff of the Magi, and 8-fluted pole respectively. All those are the best, or second best armors and weapons in their class and pretty much one of a kind.
