At different levels things are hard, but really, there's no creature in this game that can't be beaten. Either A)You're too weak. B)Your Gear sucks. And there's a simple way to fix both problems and that is : POWERLEVEL! xD My favorite word. |

I can't get over this game, it's like crack to me.
I've had it for a couple of years, just couldn't get into it the first time I tried. The battle system bothered me, I didn't like the license board, etc. For some reason, I popped it in a few days ago, and now I play whenever I get the chance. I mean, hell, I even made this mule so I could cosplay the best character I've seen in a game in a long time. I never cosplay, so consider it a testament to the sheer badassery of Balthier. XD I love this system. So groundbreaking. Gambits are extremely handy, I can't believe I didn't like them before. Maybe I was just too set in my FFX ways, I dunno. Anyway, this is one of the best games I've played in a long time. I haven't beaten it yet, of course, but I'm bustin' through it at a pretty good pace. |

I got XII for X-mas the year it came out. It collected dust for 6 months. Just wasn't really interested in playing it. I played through it, kinda half-assed it. I finished in like 50 hours no uber weapons cept the spear, and a quarter of the hunts incomplete. Wasn't till after I played FFVII that I came back to 12 and I really enjoyed it. That's when I came here the first time like earlier in the year. I'm playing through X again and I already finished VII for the 3rd time (lord knows the number of times I've played X) After that I think I'll do 12 again and do everything but Yaizmat, cause honestly I ******** hate that guy.

all the final fantasys rock! exept ff4 on ds...stupid dark elf is using HAX!!! no mater what i do like the walkthrough told me it wont work! it hits 9999s and im doin 32s and miss's to it and the guy said if i held in long enough at least cecil and cid need to be alive and that bard guy saves me but he doesnt!!! btw my lvls are 24,23,25,and 21 but it will never work...im going to sell it soon

Level up a little more, and wait until you can use your normal weapons again. Then just hack away. |

Go back to the castle and talk to Edward.. Or whatever that spoony bards name is. On topic: I find Yiazmat annoying, but for the most part he's really easy. I first thought that when I was going to fight him, he'd be able to crush me so fast! But then I reduced him to half hp, and I'm like... WOW.. This is lame. He's only an annoyence when he's flashing.. >_< DAMN YOUR COMBO RATE AND INSTANT DEATH RATE!! |
