I've gotten more than a few in this game, that's why it's so fun.

Anyone else attack wild saurion right after the Rouge Tomato hunt?
It goes something like this:

Vaan: *stab**0 damage*
Me: 0_o
Saurion: *eats wolf*
Me: *holds down R2* Run run run, dammit...
Saurian: *chomps on Vaan for uber damage*
~Game Over~

I saw it, and I was like "Oh s**t, giant monster." eek I stayed as far from it as I could. I didn't have Libra at the time, so I couldn't check its stats.

Yeah, I should've known better, especially from playing VIII, but I couldn't resist.
I went back later, with Vaan, Penelo, and Balthier to open a can of whoop@ss on it and only Balthier made it to the village. And when I tried to return to the city...well, let's just say T-rex isn't one to forgive and forget. It and at least three wolves were hot on my tail before I reached the next screen.

RikaNara, I'm not sure why his title wouldn't go up... I haven't gotten it yet myself, but according to the strategy guide, the requirements are: completion of all hunts, one million clan points, and completion of the Sky Pirate's Den.

Yami no Sakura, 99 is the max level. :]

I love the Sky Pirate's Den. It's a nice little extra added in and it's fun collecting the figurines. I need to get the Ashe one. xD Average party level 50...

How long is this freaking game? O_O I've been playing almost 16 hours and I still feel like I've barely even gotten out of the beginning of the game. I'm finally Lv.16 thanks to level grinding my way through the Sand Ocean place for hours on end {Due mainly because I got lost...} lol.

My game clocked in at around 60 hours, but I didn't get to do all the sidequests and hunts and such.

Wow, that's a really long game. O_O I thought the game was huge but damn... it's the equivilant of an MMORPG in a single player world. This game is strangely very addictive however. I can easily get lost for hours just level grinding like I did today. >.<

My efforts to make a White Mage is finally paying off. Penole is finally becoming better with her spell casting. X_X She was so freaking weak for I don't know how many hours... now she has better Armor because I made her learn Heavy/Light rather than Mystic.... she tends to get attacked quite a bit from enemies. Fran is still my Red Mage however. She uses a Bow and has White/Black/Green magic and is built as a rounded character. Hm... Ashe knows Cure and Curaga and Protect and Shell and that's pretty much all the Magic I want her to know.

Everyone was capable of dealing damage and curing allies. O_o for me anyway. Everyone was more of a tank (well, balthier, fran and sometimes penelo were ranged fighters).

Your white mage gets attacked a lot? Weird. xD I also made Penelo my white mage and she rarely got targeted. I just tried to keep her away from the fray and made her my reserve party leader.

I think my Ashe fared the best and was the most balanced by the end of my game. I made her a sort of red-mage-most-warrior but she was much better with magick than Penelo, probably because she was 10 levels ahead of her but anyway...

In my SPD: Balthier, Fran, Carrot, Migelo, Reks, Ashe, Mimic?, Vaan, Penelo, Trickster, Basch, Vayne, Chocobo, Gurdy, and Montblanc. Halfway done. biggrin

Alright. So I just finished that battle with all the little fruit thingies in the underground Palace thingy..on my way to Archades. My Team is hovering around level 46 ..is that a good level for where I am?
