Final Fantasy Chips

So recently, doing that internet browsing thing all the young people are doing, I actually stumbled into the remix side of Youtube. I eventually found the 'Final Fantasy Chips'. They were customized chiptune remixes of popular Final Fantasy songs. Now this just sounds like your regular Youtube vigilante trying his hand at a few remixes, but come to find out they are actually made by Square, with CDs of Final Fantasy 7 - 11. And even if chiptune isn't your thing..... jesus, listen to this stuff

they have who they were arranged by in the video description

also, why make chiptune versions of orchestral songs. chiptunes sound like s**t, that's why we don't use them anymore. have you heard the SNES Chrono Trigger OST compared to the DS version?

I haven't listened to these in forever, holy crap. The only ones I really liked were Birth of a God and Fight with Seymour, but they were still kinda fun to listen to as a whole. I always love when Square-Enix releases weird arrangement albums. :'D
