Well. My opinion? I love several (Look at my Sig for God's sake. eek ) But honestly?
Overall
Is actually Zack from Final Fantasy 7. Yeah, you Cloud fans can go on, and Cloud deserves alot of credit, but Zack stuck by the guy during not only his first bout with Mako poisoning, he gave a crap to where he said he and Cloud would be mercenaries. Not only that, he saved Cloud from the Shin-Ra gunmen, by switching their uniforms. Why? They escaped the Shin-Ra mansion laboratory, and seeing how they were experimental humans, and Cloud had a reaction to the stuff they were put through, this could be bad for the company if they spoke, so in a way, Zack took those bullets for Cloud, without, from what you see in the game, complaint. I suspect they were good friends before Nibelheim, as well, so this could mean alot. ...Get the yaoi out of your head for now, I'm being serious. Not only is Zack sound of moral character, he's always bubbling with confidence and energy--not to mention he has good looks, which don't hurt either. wink
Hero
Auron. LOOK at him. He has the whole Bad a** look going for him. Not only that, but he kept his promises to Jecht and Braska. That's gotta mean something, considering.. 9.9
Anti Hero
.....Tough one there. The fan in me compells me to say Vincent Valentine, because the poor man's been through hell TWICEFOLD in his past (Hojo. Need I say more?). Seriously, I don't favor many anti-heros, though as people seem to think their anti-heros, I'd say the Turks. Why? Their wacky hijinks are amusing. biggrin
Idiot Villian
Don Corneo.. Why? He's alot of fun to mock the pants off of. And because of him, Cloud Crossdresses. Amusement.
Psychotic b*****d
Hojo OR Sephiroth.
Hojo's just great fodder for role playing and fanfiction, mostly because he's great to play, fun to draw, and his experiments can do lots of things (And if you figure out how to make it more realistic, all the more fun. Aherm.). Also, when played seriously, he's a rather calculating, manipulative villian. Plus, the mind games are also interesting.
Sephiroth, because you somewhat have to pity him in his insanity. I frankly think part of it might be Multiple Personality Disorder, but what do I know? Anyhow, you kind of have to feel sorry for him. He grows up thinking his mother is dead, and he's stuck with ShinRa. Then, on the mission to NibelHeim, he finds out A. His mother is an alien. B. He was genetically manufactured as a test specimen, and C. Everyone lied about it to him. Not only in the library was he coping with all that at once, and a powering hunger to know who he is, he also went through the war in Wutai, which had to have been brutal. Finally, JENOVA likely took advantage of this, and corrupted his mind at it's weakest, forming a completely different personality from who he HAD been. Really, you do have to feel for the poor thing, because... He too, was a puppet, but the one pulling those strings was Jenova (AKA: Zombie Alien b***h).
Overall b*****d
Seifer, no contest. XD
Side-kick
Fuujin, because.. She's suffering eternal PMS. Fear her.
Honorable Mention
Wakka, ya? *Bricked* gonk Seriously.. Watch his victory pose when he faces Lulu. So bad. XD
Overall Villian
Lord Ansem of Hollow Bastion. Why? He was good, then went.. Well.. Nuts. Even still, looking at him as a benevolent leader before his insanity is just interesting. It also makes for alot of fanfic fodder. wink Even after Kingdom Hearts. The same goes for Role Playing. And besides.
Shadow Heartless rule.
