I wouldn't say Shuyin was a bad guy, he was more misunderstood then bad, he just wanted to save Zanakand from the crap that Bevelle was shooting at the city in the first place and wanted to save the woman he loved and thought using Bevelles machina was the way to do it.

He was just blinded by rage of wanting to do what was right that he did a stupid thing, he wasnt a bad guy because of that, he just was too angry to see straight and to think logically.
Ah, because I've never played X-2. I've only watched cses online. I assumed that Shuyin was just some guy that Yuna mistook as Tidus lol

would that work though? I know that Jetch wasn't a bad guy either, but he was tainted by Sin. He also had some conflict with Tidus too because Tidus hated Jetch for abandoning him.

Uhh, haven't played ALL the FF games yet, so i'm going to list just the games I played:

Yuna/Auron-Seymour (Shuyin as an alternate costume for Tidus)
Vincent/Zack (whichever's more popular)-Kadaj
Ramza/Marche-Delita/Lleander Twem (Tatics, altough different versions)

how's it look?

LOL nah, she did but then she found out that Shuyin was the lover of Lenne (that long haird 'Yuna look-alike) which is what the story revolves around, Yuna goes looking for this look-alike, thinking its Tidus when it isnt, apparently it is, from what I belive, the Fayths idea of what Shuyin would of been like 1000 years ago, Tidus being the 'good side' of Shuyin which is how Tidus was created.

As for Tidus, he hated his father not because he abandoned him but because he was always treated like s**t by him (and Tidus hated the stupid crap Jecht did like making up the terrible 'mark III name for the Jecht Shot and the reason behind it etc), no matter what Tidus (or anyone else) did it just wasnt good enough for Jecht and his sky high expectations, on esample of this was on the boat when Tidus tries to do the Jecht Shot, we shoot over to a flashback where Tidus is a little kid trying to do the Jecht Shot, the scene is as follows:

Tidus: *tries to kick the ball but fails*
Jecht: *Walks over* well well, trying to fllow in my footsteps are you? I usually charge for lessons you know...that shot is done like this *does Jecht Shot* you can't do it kid, but don't worry my boy, youre not the only one, no one else can do it, im the best!

Back in present day Spira:

Tidus: *starting to do the Jecht Shot*
Jecht: (voice) you are out of your league, no one can do it, im the best gahahaha! etc

That was Jecht, his ego was bigger then half of all the Final Fantasy worlds put together, Tidus was never able to get Jecht to say anything nice to him, where most parents helped their kids, Tidus was loved by his mother but always treated terrible by his father, regardless what Tidus did, Jecht just didn't do or say anything nice to Tidus which is all Tidus wanted, was just the love of a father which is why he goes on about how much he hates him, it is all Jechts own fault.

Though, with saying that, I have always belived, at the end of FFX when Tidus and his father 'tagged' each other, it was, in their own way, a sort of 'peace' between them, like Jecht finally accepted Tidus for who he was and not just some cry baby kid who couldn't do anything and Tidus finally forgave his father.

So no, Jecht wasnt a bad guy, he was just an egotistical guy who thought the world revolved around him, he only turned 'bad' because he was picked as Braskas final aeon though Auron said that Jecht loved Tidus and I always belived he did just that he had a REALLY terrible way of showing it that it ended up more like abuse then a sort of tough love.

Its not completely impossible for them to be a match for the members of the Final Fantasy team.

I stopped here.

I couldn't read past this bullshit, because it's now blatantly obvious that you don't know what you're talking about.

If you think that the fighters of DoA have some chance of fighting the characters of FF and winning, then I have nothing more to say to you. You're too far gone.

oh really? Well then maybe you should explain to all of he DOA fans out there how weak the DOA girls are compared to the Final Fantasy Girls.

You do realize that Tifa, Rikku, Yuna, and Kairi are all regular humans. The only thing that makes them special is that they have fancy weapons and or magic. I've never played X-2, but from what I remember in X Yuna was a summoner who had little to no physical combat training. Rikku was a thief, thieves are quick and dexterous yet lack any real physical power. Tifa's case I have already explained and Kairi wasn't even supposed to be able to do what she did in Dead Fantasy. The only really super human characters in that vid were Rinoa and Cloud!

On the other hand, the girls from DOA all seem to have extensive martial arts backgrounds! Some of them being highly skilled assassins wielding ninja magic!

I wouldn't call anyone who could learn magic on a whim a regular human, because Yuna and Rikku can learn magic whenever they obtain a sphere for their grids in FFX.

In X-2, characters are able to change their job classes, ranging from samurai, to marksman, to thief, to black mage, white mage, etc.

The regular humans are actually the majority of the DoA crew, with the exceptions of the ninjas. Or, more specifically, Ryu Hayabusa, since he's the strongest out of all of them.

I don't know how you think someone with "fancy weapons and magic" is as normal as "martial arts training."

Also, you contradict yourself... here:

Goddess of the Azure Sky
Some of them being highly skilled assassins with ninja magic!

... What's the point of bringing this up, when you already said that "The FF girls are normal humans. They just have fancy magic." Seems here that you're implying that magic is a special thing to have for the DoA girls, but not for the FF girls. I wonder why...?

And it also seems you're implying that their "ninja magic" is something to be feared by the FF girls. It's not. Especially since they have magic and equipment that far outclass anything the DoA girls even have.

Hell, I'll give you an example: Stop. Complete control over time. That seems more dangerous than just a fireball, or a blizzard, or an electric blast, no? (I'm referencing Ryu's ninpo skills, in case you didn't catch on)

Oh. Another thing:

You say that, "Kairi wasn't supposed to do what she did in Dead Fantasy." But... neither were any of the DoA girls.
Ayane and Kasumi were using their ninja magic pretty much the whole time while Rikku and Yuna hardly ever used magic. Tifa and Rinoa were pretty much the only ones using magic unless you count Yuna's summoning in DFIV

Kairi's case was very different. She was pretty much had all of Sora's powers. But I found that very creative! For him to take the time to design a Valor form for Kairi and translate Sora's movements to fit Kairi must have taken a lot of study which I can only praise.

For Monty to have saluted so many famous martial arts techs from outside of FF and DOA, Just keeping an eye out for those little homages are fun in itself. Maybe you just have no appreciation for finer arts.

I think Dissidia was made by the same dev team that did the KH series. I could be wrong though.

That's because if they did use their most powerful magic, Ayane, Kasumi, and Hitomi would be ******** dead.

If I'm not mistaken, Ayane uses that same tech to destroy the tower in one of the DOA games. Also Kasumi was mainly using that teleport tech. Which I found to have spiced up the action scenes.

my point is that they didn't even use their magic except for Tifa and Rinoa. Once Tifa lost her materia she lost like 60% of her strength. In the contest of technique and physical power, Hitomi had Tifa beat.

and I'll be honest. Rinoa in that vid was practically a goddess. She could have taken on everyone, including her fellow FF girls, and kicked their asses without breaking a sweat. But hey! When you think about it, Rinoa has the powers of THREE sorceresses who were extremely powerful on their own! Her strength in that vid was actually pretty realistic(not in a sense of reality mind you) if you ask me.

Shuyin is a bad guy? o-O

Even though his intentions are good, he can be considered the main bad guy of 10-2.
