Voice acting. Knowing SE, they'll pull out all of the stops for this game, voice acting included.

By the GODS, I hope not.

Too many major characters, to voice them all well it would take TEH $$$s (assuming this will be as big as I want it to be.) And if they don't want to spend TEH $$$s, we get crap.

Also, I have no interest in hearing what someone else thinks Garland sounds like.

It's been done well before, though. Fran's voice is <333.

just wanted to bring the excitment of this game i mean it looks very exciting now that Square Enix is exploring other genres to make games on RPG is the foundation of Square Enix well before Square Soft and Enix but its nice that they are exploring other genres

maybe there will be a bug humangous Fighting game for the acrades and Next Generation consoles contaning everything of Square Enix not only Final Fantasy but Dragon Quest and others as well

I'm so glad for this. Gives me something to think aobut during the Smash Bros. Brawl information silence.

Yup they are confirmed. I'll be putting up Character Bios pretty soon as well as speculated analysis of the battle system from the scan provided.

All I know is that Garland will be knocking them all down.

This thing is seriously cool. It will be DOUBLY so if we get a good number of pre-VII characters. (Primarily Firion.)

If they were awesome, they'd have a "Light Warrior" and a "Dark Warrior" from each game... or at least the numbered ones.

If you look carefully at the scan, you'll see a lifebar at the top and bottom of one of the screen as well as the character's name and "Level". Apparently the RPG-like elements will stick with the game to add some depth. Or maybe online play would be a possibility.

I'm REALLY curious to hear more about this. Online play would most likely rawk, though I'm not sure how lag would work with a fighting game.

Storyline looks interesting. Two gods pitting their champions from all the different universes together. I wonder if they'll leave it at that, or actually have a story mode where the heroes interact with one another and such?

To fix the lag issue, Ad-hoc would be used. I believe Tekken Dark Resurrection uses it.

(Also, the last thing I want is for Square to make another fighting game. They didn't do it right the first three times, why would the fourth succeed?)

EDIT: Nevermind.

Judging from the screenshots, it doesn't look like a fighting game to me. If it is, then Square has already failed.
